A Room With A View is in a stunning detached house that overlooks the beautiful and historic town of Modbury, in the rolling countryside of South Devon. With its own private parking space, this is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting friends, attending a wedding, hiking on Dartmoor or exploring the nearby beaches and South West Coast Path. We are also happy to welcome one well behaved dog. The space A Room With A View has everything you need for a really comfortable stay including an en suite shower room, super comfortable double bed, sofa, bistro table and chairs, TV, coffee and tea making facilities. The room is situated at one end of our house with access via our main front door and you’ll use our shared staircase. There is plenty of room to stow your luggage in a separate walk-in wardrobe where there is a hanging rail. The leather sofa is really comfy, and the small dining area overlooks Modbury. We provide clean linen, duvet, towels, soap and shower gel and a hair dryer. We also provide dog bowls for your dog, but we do not supply dog beds. The room has central heating so it's perfect whatever the time of year. The room gives you complete privacy, but there is always someone here to answer any queries. There is secure lock up available for any watersports equipment and bikes. Modbury is a bustling town with lots to do, including visiting its small independent shops, or dining and drinking in one of its 3 pubs. There’s also a coffee shop, and there are a huge number of footpaths and green lanes to explore which you can find out about by visiting the Visit Modbury website. Guest access You'll have access to your room via our front door and via our main staircase.
