Welcome to Hacienda La Pila Colorada, a Mexican architectonic jewel in the heart of Arteaga. A unique place filled with astounding details. From our landscaped gardens to the artwork that you will find in every corner of house and garden, the Hacienda is a breath of fresh air and luscious green, designed to delight your senses and make your stay unforgettable. We have every amenity you need. The space We have 3 private rooms in different parts of the house, each one with its own personality and also a full bathroom. You will find fireplaces in each room and one in each common area. We do not have air-conditioning as the house is made completely of adobe, a material which keeps the house naturally cool in hot weather. We do have ceiling fans in most areas and extra fans should you need them. We have an outside area where you can barbecue, overlooking one of our gardens. Here you will find a state-of-the-art grill, a fireplace, tables and chairs. The kitchen is fully-equipped, with everything you need to cook and prepare any kind of meal. We offer salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar, coffee, tea, and water, on the house, as well as other surprises. You can park up to three vehicles inside the premises, on a small roofed driveway right next to the house. We ask that you always keep an eye on your little ones, since the pool is readily accessible from inside the house and there are no guardrails. We do not have security personnel or lifeguards on duty. Children are always welcome. We just ask that they be careful when inside the house, since there are many hard edges and dangerous places where they can trip and fall, or otherwise break something that is part of the decoration. We have a vast enclosed yard where they can play to their hearts' content. We even have a makeshift basketball court with one board and hoop, should you wish to make use of it. There's one HD Smart TVs with access to Wifi in the dining/pool area, where you can choose the streaming service of your choice and enjoy watching movies and series. We do have a gardener on site, Mondays thru Saturdays. He makes sure the gardens are in tip-top shape and will be available to answer any questions should I be unavailable. He will be working on the grounds but will not disturb you. All parties or loud celebrations are strictly prohibited. All loud noise or music must stop at 11PM. Hacienda La Pila Colorada is a place of peaceful leisure in connection with nature. We ask that you respect that, and our neighbors as well. Due to the fact that the house has many sensitive and fragile details and materials, as well as irreplaceable works of art and artifacts, we have a strict no-pets policy. Although the gardens are big and vast, ideal for dogs and other roaming pets, these are green, luscious areas that we painstakingly take care of. We're anxious to host you. Only the back part of the garden is off limits, since this is our storage area and the place where the gardener works and eats. Other things to note Being a pet-owner and lover, I'm sorry to not be able to have a pet-friendly place. We do this in order to guarantee the cleanliness and integrity of furniture, floors, rugs, fabric, and other sensitive and expensive materials and details that may be compromised by pets.
