If you’re looking for the quintessential 70s A-frame experience, look no further! Classic 1973 A-frame with modern updates and mid-century vibe! This cozy 928 sq ft A-frame is located on wooded property at the foothills of Mt. Hood National forest near Sandy River. Perfect for a solo getaway, a couple’s retreat, or a small family escape. Skiing/snowboarding is 20-30 mins away. Sandy Ridge mnt biking - 5 mins away. Lots of hiking around. The space The cabin is located in Timberline Rim community. The neighbors on either side are full time residents. This isn’t secluded cabin, please take this in consideration before booking. There is a community pool, clubhouse, swings, tennis and basketball courts within 5 mins walk so as Sandy river access. The pool is seasonal - usually Memorial Day to Labor days, the schedule can change depending on weather or other circumstances, no refunds given. Sleeping accommodations: downstairs room has a double bed and located across from bathroom. Upstairs loft has queen size and two twin beds. Two burner propane BBQ grill is available for your use on the deck. Guest access The neighbors are fairly close. Please be a good neighbor. The property has fenced backyard. The seasonal pool and clubhouse are accessed with a membership card that is located on the refrigerator. Pool will be open June 14th though Labor Day 10am-8pm Other things to note To help keep the property safe and peaceful, we have a security camera in the backyard (positioned away from the hot tub) and a noise decibel monitor in the living room. If you are booking non-refundable option, it will be non-refundable no matter of the circumstances. I strongly suggest you add travel insurance. If booking cabin in the winter, please take in consideration, electric heat isn’t sufficient. You would have to use wood stove. I do provide wood, there is a detail instructions on how safely and efficiently use wood stove, but if you aren’t comfortable with it, please do not book my cabin. If you have kids with you, you take full liability on. The stairs to the loft, outdoor decks and wood stove ARE NOT child proof/friendly, please take it in consideration before booking. The stair case to the loft is steep and narrow and not recommended for small children or elderly. The wood stove gets very hot and will burn you if touched and is not recommended for children to play around and pets as well. Please read safety tips in the manual before using it. STR-870-24
