An elevated pod in the heart of Scottish Wildcat territory, set above the main house with open views to the Cairngorms. Double glass doors open onto a private timber deck. Underfloor heating keeps it warm year-round — this pod was built for the Scottish weather, not in spite of it. King bed, en-suite shower room, and a kitchenette. Fast WiFi and TV for the rainy days. Deer are a regular sight from the deck. The space Step through the double glass doors onto the deck and you have a panoramic view to the west — the light in the evenings can be something. Inside, a Velux window on the west wall frames the same view from the warmth of the pod. Underfloor heating runs throughout — you will feel it the moment you step off the deck. The king bed sits at one end, made up with a thick duvet, four pillows, and extra blankets if the temperature drops overnight. Bedside tables, lamps, and USB charging points are built into the sockets on each side. The living area has a two-seater couch, a small dining table, and a 24-inch TV with Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, and more. The WiFi is fast and needs no password. The kitchenette has a two-plate electric hob, a microwave with grill, and a fridge. There is no oven, but there is a kettle, a coffee pot, and everything you need to cook a proper meal — crockery, glasses, pots, pans, and a full set of utensils. Basic provisions are stocked on arrival: coffee, tea, salt, pepper, and olive oil. The en-suite has a hot shower, a heated towel rail, and a washbasin. We provide bath sheets rather than hand towels, and shampoo and shower gel are included. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. The deck has two wooden chairs and uplighters for the evenings. Take a coffee out there in the morning — deer are a regular sight from this spot. You have your own private entrance and a timber deck with outdoor seating - a good spot to watch the light change over the hills. Access is via a 60-metre grass slope from the parking area. It is a gentle gradient, but we recommend soft holdalls rather than wheeled suitcases, as dragging wheels over grass can be difficult. You are welcome to explore the immediate grounds, but please be mindful of our boundaries. We ask that you respect our neighbours' privacy and do not go onto their adjacent land. Other things to note You will likely meet "The Girls" — our flock of free-roaming hens and ducks who patrol the garden. They are friendly, but please do not let them inside the pod. Because of the nearby livestock, this pod is strictly pet-free. The pod is on a septic tank. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper — use the waste bin provided for everything else. Open fires and fire pits are not permitted anywhere on the property. The grass slope to the pod can be slippy in wet weather. Take your time on the way up and down. Registration details HI-70331-F
