The Barn at Hillcrest

Comfortable accommodation is offered in our converted small barn, an annexe to the main house, that features a spiral staircase and mezzanine sleeping area. Within easy access to plenty of woodland and countryside walks, the village of Gorsley has a community shop and post office, coffee shop and playground within easy walking distance of our property. There is also a popular Nepali run pub restaurant down the road. We are near to the historic market towns of Newent and Ross-on-Wye. The space Ground floor open plan living space with kitchen, dining, living room and bathroom. A victorian spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine first floor with king size bed and landing area that can have take a child’s put down bed. Please note the spiral staircase may not be suitable for people with mobility issues but there is a bed settee downstairs. Travel cot for babies available on request. There is a quiet enclosed garden area for sole use of guests. Guest access Car parking space is available at front of property. The Barn annexe is situated at the rear of the property and can be accessed either via the lobby of the main house or a separate entrance via patio/ garden area. Please note there are several steps in the lobby access and a gravel path at the front of the property which could limit access for wheelchair users. Other things to note We have ducks, chickens and rabbits and our dog, Domino, at the property. We are happy for guests bringing their dog (max 2) or other pet. There is a secure garden for the barn guests where dogs can be free - in the rest of the property we ask that you keep your dog on a lead.
