Grant Park Bungalow - Private Room and Bathroom

Welcome to our 1920's bungalow in the heart of Grant Park, Atlanta! Our place has the charm of a historic home with the amenities you would want in today's modern world. We love our neighborhood and the ability to walk everywhere while still appreciating the tree-lined streets of Atlanta. There is plenty to do in the city and we are happy to share some of our favorite places. Enjoy your time out and about and rest easy knowing you have a safe spot to return home to! The space Our space is fully equipped to make your stay as easy as possible. In the house you'll be sharing a living room, dining room, kitchen, and laundry room with us, while having your own private bedroom and private (unattached) bathroom for use. AC/heat (Nest thermostat), ceiling fans throughout, and linens are provided. We have a front porch with seating and backyard space for you to enjoy. Guest access Our home has a smart lock so you can lock/unlock using your phone. No need for keys or codes. However, if you experience issues, we have a lock box on the porch with a spare key! We are also on site in case you need us. The neighborhood is quite walkable (very bike-able with rental bikes at the park) and there is plenty of street parking if you bring a car. Our place is right off the MARTA bus stop, which goes to the Five Points MARTA train station. You can take the MARTA from the airport to Five Points and the bus to our home, otherwise it is a quick 15 minute Lyft ride. During your stay We will be sharing the main spaces with you, but happy to socialize (or not) based on your preferences. Let us know if you need anything, including early or late check out. Happy to accommodate as we can. Other things to note You'll be sharing the space with us (Connor and Kelsey) and our 1-year old Australian Shepherd, Remy. We will try to keep Remy separated from guests as much as possible, but want to disclose in case of allergies/ issues with pets. Remy is quite fearful of strangers and is currently in training to help alleviate some of that stress. He will be on a leash during your entire stay and will likely be confined to our room unless he and you are both comfortable with each other. Our current house rules indicate pets are not allowed. If you message us and are given advanced permission to bring a pet, there will be a pet fee to cover the additional costs of cleaning and any damages, if applicable. If you have a feline assistance animal, please note we cannot host you due to allergies and safety concerns of your host. You’ll notice the guest bathroom was just updated, including a freshly refinished claw foot tub (perfect for soaking)! Please excuse some cosmetic upgrades we are currently undergoing - you’ll notice areas of mismatched paint (particularly in the kitchen). Nothing that impacts use, we are just working on some small DIY projects in common spaces at the moment.
