The Breezy Palm, a luxury island house, is your perfect getaway on Upper Captiva. Get to the island by a short ferry ride or private charter. No cars and no roads...nothing but sandy trails, golf carts as transportation (cart included). Blue green ocean water beach is only a a 30 sec cart ride or 1 minute walk. The space Enjoy sunrise and sunset views and the sights and sounds of sea birds soaring overhead while you sip a cup of coffee or a tropical cocktail on the fourth-story crow’s nest that sits atop this luxurious house. Lounge in the open-plan living room with vaulted ceilings and watch the palm trees gently sway in the sea breeze through the large windows on every side of the house. This 4-bedroom and 2.5-bath island house includes two spacious screened outdoor sitting areas and an outdoor shower and grill on the ground floor. Situated in the tropical tree tops, the third-story living space boasts a kitchen with beautiful granite countertops and newer, high-end appliances. Sit back and relax in the comfy leather sofas and sleep soundly in any of the four dreamy, island-themed bedrooms. This piece of paradise brings the outside in with huge, stacking glass doors on both the bedroom and living levels. During the day, cruise around in the included golf cart and explore the barrier island paradise that is North Captiva Island. From this house, the beach is a short 30 second golf cart ride away. On your ride to the beach, you will drive on quiet, sandy roads lined with luscious tropical plants, palm trees, and bright, beautiful flowers. You might even see one of the island's endangered gopher tortoises! Enjoy miles of white, sugar-sand beaches, warm, salty gulf waters with gentle waves, and a natural preserve on the southern tip of the island. Guest access The property manager will meet you at the dock, assist with loading your belongings onto a golf cart and trailer, introduce you to your personal cart for your stay and then escort you to the house after a short tour of the island. By the time you reach the house all your groceries and belongings should be unloaded. Other things to note We have Captains on hand for private boating and or fishing excursions. A rare opportunity to visit a remote beach for shelling, get a close up visit with dolphins and manatees or take a shot at a Trophy Tarpon.
