During the day, cruise around in the included golf cart and explore the barrier island paradise that is North Captiva Island. From this house, the beach is a short 30 second golf cart ride away. On your ride to the beach, you will drive on quiet, sandy roads lined with luscious tropical plants, palm trees, and bright, beautiful flowers. You might even see one of the island's endangered gopher tortoises! Enjoy miles of white, sugar-sand beaches, warm, salty gulf waters with gentle waves, and a natural preserve on the southern tip of the island. The property manager will meet you at the dock, assist with loading your belongings onto a golf cart and trailer, introduce you to your personal cart for your stay and then escort you to the house after a short tour of the island. By the time you reach the house all your groceries and belongings should be unloaded. The house manager and staff will be on hand for any concerns, questions or request. This island paradise is the ideal tropical getaway! There are not cars on Upper Captiva so we all drive golf carts. No road noice and no beeping of the horns. Very nice means of transportation.
