Detached house in former farmyard with walks directly onto open moorland, easy bus and rail access, pub , farm shop and cafe within 3 mins walk along Rochdale Rd. Yoga/ meditation studio available to guests by arrangement (please enquire). Spacious living for 7 - 9. Covered outdoor seating, large enclosed yard, lawn, EV charger, private parking for 3 cars, bike storage. We are just across the yard for maps, bike tools, board games etc. Late checkout by arrangement. Not suitable for under 10s. The space This former butchers shop is one of four buildings around the flagged former farmyard - front barn with bike store, the old cowshed and the back barn, now an Alexander Technique Studio. The front gate is onto Rochdale Road and the back onto the old packhorse trail. The Studio is usually available to guests free of charge for quiet practice like yoga, meditation, qigong etc. by arrangement. Bedroom 4 has a large split double bed and an additional low single bed is available to make this a twin room. This bedroom is on the main road so please read notes about noise if you are concerned. Bedroom 5 is set up as a dining room with a table that can be extended or moved into the living room if you want. It has a comfy sofa bed. This room is also on the main road so please read the notes about noise. Bathrooms - the house has one en-suite and one full bathroom with large shower for bookings of up to 7 guests. For more than 7, a second bathroom in a separate building across the yard is available on request. Guest access You can use the whole house, the back lawn, the flagged yard and covered stable. The house is entirely yours, we may be around in the yard or stable occasionally. For groups more than 7 we open the extra bathroom across the yard. The Studio is usually available for quiet work e.g. yoga or meditation free of charge (please enquire). Please enquire, if you want to use any other buildings on site. Other things to note EV charger available 40 p per unit, payment through the resolution centre. Ideally, please let us know in advance if you need to use it.
