The Walls are curated with lovely art work of cloth which is priceless, Antique teak wood furniture all around the house gives you the heritage vibe, Antique lamps & Fans to ensure you living in the era of 100 yrs ago. Trust me you do not want to miss this experience as its a vibe. You can sit in the living room watching the new era netflix, amazon prime, hotstar in the Doordarshan age home. The sofa's are quiet comfy with lovely multi coloured single cup sofa's too. There is a beautiful mirror which will showcase you in this pretty living room, which is attached to a study room. At the moment we have made shelves to keep books etc. It has leaves hanging in the study rooms as well as the bedroom. Balcao :- Once you walk out of the living room its a garden vibe with a lovely boho swing. You can sit in peace whilst you sip your coffee in the mornings or whilst reading your favorite book as they used to do in the Golden olden days. Garden:- The garden is wrapped up with nice soothing lighting for the evenings to sit in the Portuguese "Balcao" as we call it. There is a 100 years old well in the garden too. Bedroom :- The bedroom has a King Size bed with a lovely orthopedic firm mattress to get the best sleep you will ever have. Trust me you don't need a clock to wake up. The birds around Saligao's perennial spring include the Indian peafowl, the orange-headed thrush, the greenish warbler and the purple sunbird. You also have quails, partridges, snowcocks, francolins, spurfowls, tragopans, monals, pheasants, peafowls and jungle fowls. There are also a variety of migrant birds like Caspian, Heuglin's, Steppe, Great Black-headed, Slender-billed & Brown-headed Gulls and Great Crested, Lesser Crested, Caspian & Gull-billed Terns, Greater & Lesser Sand Plovers will chirp in your ears on that beautiful morning. Of course the roaster will be your daily alarm clock like the olden times. The bedroom has a hammock too if you want to relax or can also keep your child for a nice sleep. Kitchen- The kitchen has a lovely table for dining which has an amazing art cloth with a glass. There are cloth pieces of artwork in the dining area with artistic placed rugs on both sides. Natural day light pierces throughout the whole house like in the olden times. The kitchen is equipped with all basic amenities, cooking gas, cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots pans for a long stay as well as a short one. The back door entrance is the main entrance to the house so it gives you a feels of the olden age. Bathroom:- The bathroom is a vibe too as it has Edison bulbs and olden era tiles which perfect lighting for a refreshing shower, relax, rewind, rejunuvate. The Loft - The loft has the olden age ladder which is hand made and was used to keep things in the attic. However we have strengthened it and brought it back to life by reviving it. Can use it as an artistic gallery in the future. Back of the house - There is a small little gate which takes you to the back of the house which is like a beach vibe full of sand. Also you can come from MANOHAR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT MOPA (GOX) -which is located about 35 km from the house. From the train station: The nearest train station is Thivim, which is located about 16.7km from the house. "To ensure ease of access and security, please use the back gate located near the kitchen for entering and exiting the property. Kindly avoid using the front gate facing the garden. Things to keep in mind- It's a quiet neighborhood with peace and loving locals living around. Guest are requested to avoid loud noise in common areas and no abusive language or slang. The Apartment is on the ground floor, Please don't make loud noise post 10pm that will disturb the neighbors to be precise, Keep shoes at the side of the entrance on the floor. Please keep the house well maintained and respect it as a home (as its my home and now its yours). No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the property. Designated smoking areas are available outside or in the balcony Pets are allowed on the property only with owners consent Parties or events are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. The maximum number of guests allowed in the property is 4. Check-in is between [2pm] and check-out is by [11am]. Early check-in and late check-out may be possible with prior arrangement. We will try and accommodate any request depending on the timings of the previous guest staying with us relating to early check in and check out. Guests are responsible for keeping the property clean and tidy during their stay. A cleaning fee of INR 1000 will be charged if the property is left in a poor condition.
