If you are looking for a comfortable place for your getaway this year, look no further! Located just 12 min from Barry's Bay, this spacious, 4-season cottage is yours to enjoy. Set far apart, it is one of two cottages rented out on the property. Marvel in the beauty of the pristine water from the deck. Relax with a cup of tea or book under the tall trees near the shoreline. Have a peaceful sleep in our new beds while listening to the soothing sounds of nature. There is much to do in the area too The space Located in the beautiful Madawaska Valley, the property boasts a beautiful shoreline with sandy bottom, and areas of both sun and shade. The property has 2 cottages (1 detached cottage and 1 semi-detached cottage) that are open for vacation rental. The other side of the semi-detached cottage is not rented out. We keep that to store supplies and linen for the two cottages and for us to stay on the days the cottages need cleaning. Your cottage is completely yours during your stay. The two rented cottages are set far apart on the grounds, and a tall hedge creates visual privacy between the two cottages. This listing (you are looking at) is for the semi-detached cottage on the property. It has 2 decks (one large deck in the front and one small deck on the side - small and one large) with views of the lake. You also have separate access to a screened-in little hut in the middle of the grounds to sit and enjoy a glass of wine r a cup of tea/coffee while enjoying the views of the water. Your cottage has a full kitchen, a separate dining room, a living/sitting room, and 4-piece washroom on the main floor. The basement has 2 bedrooms, a sitting room with a fireplace, and a 3-piece washroom. Both sitting rooms (upstairs and in the basement) have 43" smart TVs. Altogether there are 2 queen-size beds (one in each bedroom). There are 2 queen-size sofabeds (one in the basement living room and one on the main floor in the living room). This cottage is about 1 - 2 min. walk to the shoreline, depending on how fast or slow you walk. The grounds are shared by the guests of the second cottage, however, separate sitting areas have been created near the shoreline for each cottage. Each cottage has access to a separate dock, a canoe, 3 kayaks, a BBQ grill, and a firepit. Guest access The key to your cottage will be kept in a lockbox, and on the day of your check-in, we will send you the code for the lockbox. There is parking on the property for two cars per cottage. We can accommodate more cars but please inform us in advance if you plan to arrive in more than 2 cars. Please note that kayaks and canoes are available from May 15 to October 25. Other things to note The price is for 4 guests only. For each additional guest, a fee of $25 per night per guest will be added at the time of booking. No visitors or extra guests, please. Please note that the bedrooms are in the basement. Please also note that kayaks and canoes are available from May 15 to October 25. On Fridays, between April 15 and October 25, a person comes to cut grass between 10am and 4pm. He is usually in and out in about 15 to 20 minutes.
