Lake Escape

April 2025 - the water level has dropped significantly so the lake is currently a river. This modern 2 bedroom home sits on the shores of lake Eildon. The spacious covered deck is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Located just a few minutes from the quaint town of Jamieson where the Jamieson and Goulburn Rivers converge and just 40 minutes to the gates of Mt Buller and Stirling. Boating, kayaking, hiking, fishing, snow skiing and horse riding are available nearby.. Guest access Guests have access to two out of the three bedrooms Other things to note Due to Mother Nature the levels of the lake can vary a lot and it can sometimes appear more like a river, as it is as I write this April 2025. There is still fishing, swimming and kayaking available a few minutes away in the Goulburn and Jamieson Rivers. There is an adjacent block of land with a shed on it and no fence in between. The owners sometimes come and camp on the block by the shed. It is about 15 metres from the house. There are also neighbours on the opposite side but the fence line has trees planted along it for privacy. It is a holiday house.
