There’s gorgeous Lake Sakakawea, the scenic Missouri River, Lake Sakakawea State Park for boat ramps and services, and awesome Garrison Dam. And then there’s Dam Sweet! This gem is in Pick City on a half acre of property with trees for privacy but spacious parking for vehicles and boats. When we looked at it, my husband said “Wow, this is sweet!” So a name was born! We had fun creating this lively boho space with attention to details like cozy beds and linens and comfortable unique furnishings. The Dam Sweet is all yours for your stay. Three bedrooms - a master suite with queen bed and private bath, and two bedrooms with separate bath on the other end of the house. One bedroom has a double sleigh bed and the other has a set of twin beds. Tons of closet space. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a dining table and counter seating. A fire pit,outdoor furniture and cool outdoor lights in the backyard are for guest use. There’s also a separate den that can be used as a dedicated work space or for sleeping for guests who bring a blowup mattress. The property is available for parking and play though the sheds are private to owners. I don’t usually meet or check guests out and access is by door code. I’m happy to greet you if that’s your preference and am available for information and recreation ideas. Lake Sakakawea, Garrison Dam and the Missouri River are at Pick City’s east side. Plan to recreate on the lake and river, fish, hunt or hang with family and friends on the spacious private property. Good pubs and grills in both Pick City and Riverdale, which is on the other end of the dam. Explore the National Fish Hatchery and the amazing resource of this great lake and river system in the heart of North Dakota. You’re going to love the outdoor setting here. You can easily walk anywhere in Pick City and bikes are fun too, especially for exploring nearby Lake Sakakawea State Park. Your vehicle will get you anywhere here. Dam Sweet is very near Lake Sakakawea, the Missouri River and Lake Audubon. Great fishing and recreation. Bring your boat-plenty of room on the property. Did you bring the kids? A cool feature of Pick City is a wonderful playground that local residents have really invested time and effort into. It’s just a block away from The Dam Sweet.
