Come relax and explore the gold country at this peaceful studio, located just 5 minutes from river access and 15 minutes from Downtown Placerville. Take a short drive into Coloma to visit Marshall Gold Discovery State Park, where gold was first discovered, or spend a day on the river at one of the many river beach access points. Looking for a day out on the town? Drive 15-20 minutes for local shops in Placerville, freshly baked pies in Apple Hill, or visit one of the many wineries in the area. The studio is located just a few steps from the main house but has its own patio space to enjoy. Inside the studio you’ll have a full kitchen, living room/bedroom space with a full bathroom and washer/dryer included. This cozy space invites you to rest and relax. Cozy up to a book under the natural lighting from the sky light or drink a cup of coffee outside on the patio as you watch the deer graze. You’ll have the whole studio to yourself, as well as your own patio space. Please refrain from using the larger patio space. You may help yourself to the shared basketball court and kids’ play area! Please feel free to message me with any questions or needs you may have. We’ll generally keep to ourselves but you may see us on our main patio area or out enjoying the shared basketball court and kids’ play area. Feel free to interact as much or as little as you would like. We’ll follow your lead! It’s a quaint neighborhood with lots of wildlife and nature to enjoy. You can enjoy a walk along the property to look at the neighbor’s goats and horse or sit and watch the deer graze from the studio’s patio space. Driving is the best option as there aren’t many sidewalks on these windy, hilly roads. Parking is usually plentiful at the local restaurants and coffee shops.
