Located on the Jura Wine Route, Arlay is a city of character on both banks of the Seille, Capital of Vin de Paille. Its hills offer superb views of the surrounding area. Arlay Castle is an 18th-century private castle at the foot of the ruins of an 11th-century fortified castle. You can visit various tourist sites such as Château-Chalon and its Vin Jaune, Baume-Les-Messieurs with its abbey, waterfall and cave, Arbois or Salins-Les-Bains. From our home, many hiking or biking trails start. 10 minutes from our residence, you can also swim in Lake Desnes. Guests can take advantage of the beach, pedal boats and inflatable water park. About 30 km away, you can discover the Lakes of Clairvaux, Chalain and Vouglans. And just an hour from the ski slopes and Switzerland. Our house is close to a grocery store (2 km), a bakery (3 km), supermarkets about 10 km away as well as a bowling alley, Kid Park, Laser-Games and other entertainment.
