Welcome to your charming and bright stay in Dunedin! Enjoy a cozy private room in a peaceful two-bedroom home, just a 15-minute walk from the beach and close to the city centre. This is the perfect place to rest, recharge and explore local life with the support of a friendly host who respects your privacy. I live in the house too and love hosting people from around the world. The space You’ll have a bright, clean and quiet private bedroom with a comfortable king double bed, desk, wardrobe, fresh linen, towels and plenty of natural light. There’s space to unpack and feel at home. The bathroom is shared with me (the host) and you’re welcome to use the kitchen and lounge for light meals and relaxation. The house is simple, cozy, safe and ideal for solo travellers, couples or anyone seeking a peaceful place to stay while visiting Dunedin. I work and have a busy routine, so I may not be around much, but I’m always available if you need anything. If you prefer privacy, I fully respect that. You’re free to enjoy your space and come and go as you please. I’m naturally kind and thoughtful with people and I want my home to reflect that energy. My goal is to create a peaceful and welcoming space where guests feel cared for and respected. As someone who has travelled extensively – including to the USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia – I truly understand how important it is to feel safe and welcome while away from home. I do my best to offer that same positive experience to my guests. Respect is my top priority and your comfort matters to me. Other things to note - Free street parking is available right outside the house. The street is quiet and there have never been any issues with parking. - The lounge is equipped with a heat pump and a fireplace for a warm and cozy atmosphere. In the bedroom, there is an electric blanket and a portable heater for extra comfort. - An extra folding single bed is available in the bedroom and can be arranged if needed (please discuss in advance). - For elderly guests or those with special needs, I’m happy to offer extra support, such as airport pickup or local transport. Please contact me in advance to discuss arrangements. - This lovely renovated home is in an excellent location, just 8 minutes to the city centre, providing easy access to local attractions and amenities. - The neighborhood is safe and peaceful, offering a great environment for a relaxing stay. - Flexible check-in/check-out times can be arranged in advance, depending on availability. - The house is also within walking distance to parks, cafés and local attractions.
