Other things to note PARKING Room for 2-3 cars in the driveway. Sunriver does not allow for parking on the street or off pavement which includes the street in front of the house. Park only in the driveway. We would hate to see any of our guests get towed or fined by the Sunriver Police. Our Cleaning Practices The home is professionally cleaned before each stay. Some flooring may show normal streaking depending on lighting and cleaning products. If anything needs attention on arrival, please message us within 2 hours so we can promptly address it. The hot tub is professionally serviced before each stay. Because it is outdoors in a wooded area, leaves, pine needles, insects, or natural debris may occasionally appear after service. Guest comfort is our top priority, and we’re always happy to make things right. PETS We are delighted to welcome only dogs into our home ( 1 dog per reservation), believing that pets are family and should be treated with care and responsibility. We do not allow cats or puppies. There is a pet fee of 40 dollars/night for each pet. Guests must be responsible for their pets at all times, including leash requirements, supervision, and cleanup duties both indoors and outdoors. Pets cannot be left unsupervised, and proof of vaccinations may be requested. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, beds, or in the hot tub, and excessive shedding should be vacuumed by guests. Disturbances such as nonstop barking are not permitted, and guests are reminded to respect our property as their own. BATHROOMS We provide soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash by H2O Therapy HEATING Temperature changes as the system cycles translates into lots of expansion and contraction of copper pipes and that might mean some creaks, clanks, and clicks. WILDLIFE We kindly remind you to ensure that all doors and windows are securely closed during your stay in Sunriver. While the natural surroundings are a haven for diverse wildlife, it is important to take precautions to prevent any unexpected encounters inside the house, including potential visits from mice, bats, and our native carpenter ant friends! Central Oregon is also home to multiple species of ants and spiders, some of which may find their way indoors if entry points are left open. As your hosts, we take pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable space and do our best to manage and control insects through regular cleaning and pest control services. You may also notice dead insects in window tracks, door tracks, or corners from time to time. This is often a sign that pest control treatments are working, and our cleaners do their best to remove them during each turnover. However, in a wooded area like Sunriver, it is difficult to completely prevent this. That said, given the expansive wilderness setting of Sunriver, occasional indoor visits from local critters/insects can still occur despite best efforts. INTERNET House is equipped with HIGH speed internet. WIFI coverage throughout the house. Speeds may vary depending on broadband usage, devices, location, and etc. BIKES We offer 6 complimentary adult cruiser bikes with helmets for guests to explore the 40 miles of Sunriver paved pathways. While we cannot guarantee their availability due to possible maintenance needs, we do our best to keep them well-maintained. Guests assume responsibility for their safety while using the bikes and are encouraged to wear helmets. Anyone under 16 must wear a helmet as required by state law. We encourage guests to bring their own bikes locks if they are planning to leave the bikes unattended. For off-road biking options, there are rental shops in the Sunriver Village. Enjoy your stay with us! SHARC pass We offer SHARC passes for our guest use only. These are non-transferable. Please return them to their original location at check out. $100/pass will be charged to the guest for any Lost/missing/damaged pass. These Recreation Plus Cards provide access to available SROA-owned recreational amenities: Recreation Plus Program Card SHARC: Indoor and Outdoor Aquatics (NOTE: RPP cards DO NOT provide access to member-only areas at SHARC such as the Fitness Center and Hosmer Living Room. It also does not allow access to the Member Pool.) Disc Golf at SHARC SROA Tennis and Pickleball Courts (with reservation) SROA Boat Launch SERVICE PROVIDERS During your stay, you may encounter service providers who help with the maintenance of the home (gardener, hot tub cleaning crew, bike repair etc.). Please allow them onto the property to do their jobs. For stays longer than 5 days, the hot tub crew may check mid stay to ensure the PH and Chlorine levels are at appropriate levels. Weekly trash pickup is Monday only. Longer stays For stays longer than 15 days we charge additional light cleaning every 10 days (bathrooms, kitchen and bedroom vacuum/mop and switch out linens on the beds). Light cleaning fee of $150 will billed to you in advance.
