Please check with Tas Fishing about rules and licensing Great for nature walks and adventuring in the wild Bring your food and drink supplies with you as there are no supermarkets close by The space This cabin is more comfortable than a shack. It provides a large open living area with a basic kitchen. 2 stove tops, and other basic appliances such as toaster, kettle, electric fry pan, rice cooker, bench top oven, crockery, utensils, cutlery, glassware. Tea, coffee and sugar provided. There are 3 bedrooms, with a queen-sized bed & and single bed and with a double and with a single bed. Separate mud room, toilet and bathroom. Guest access You'll enter the cabin from the back door into the mud room, please leave your shoes there if it's wet so that the mess stays in that room :) Don't forget to bring your slippers for extra comfort. We often travel with our dogs so we'd like to offer the same for you. However, if you do bring your dog/s we'd appreciate it if you wipe their paws with a towel in the mud room before letting them in the house. You'll have the whole cabin to yourself, just as it should be. Other things to note Please bring your supplies (food and drinks) with you. The Great Lake Shop in Miena has limited resources and the nearest supermarkets are about 1 hr 30 min away :) It's best to shop in Launceston or Hobart before you drive up. A short drive away is Arthurs Lake Roadhouse at 34 Arthurs Lake Rd. A convenient stop for fuel, limited groceries and tackle. You can also enjoy a refreshing cup of coffee and a snack while taking in the scenic views of the lake. Nearby is the heritage listed Waddamana Power Station found on Highlands Power Trail. You can tour the station on the weekend. There you'll also find Earthly Delights Coffee Shop close by where you can get the best coffee and baked goodies. There are a few hiking trails starting from Miena. You'll find them with a quick internet search. Registration Details DA2023/51
