The space This home is our primary residence and is only available when we are away, giving guests a welcoming, comfortable space rather than a standard holiday let. Easily sleeping 8 guests, with scope for more, the house features four spacious bedrooms, multiple living areas, including a games room and original period features such as exposed beams and original fireplaces. Outside, guests have exclusive use of the grounds, with a large enclosed lawn, orchards, woodland and a shallow stream running along the bottom edge of the land (separated from the house by several gates). It is the perfect setting for outdoor meals, wildlife spotting or simply enjoying the peace and quiet in the hammock. The house is ideally located for exploring Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seaton, Beer and West Bay, all within an easy drive. Enjoy beaches, coastal walks, swimming, fossil hunting and the spectacular scenery of the Jurassic Coast UNESCO World Heritage Site. Popular attractions nearby include Forde Abbey & Gardens, Seaton Tramway, Barrington Court, Montacute House, Golden Cap, Pecorama and Exeter Cathedral. The market towns of Chard, Crewkerne, Axminster, Ilminster and Taunton are all close by, while Crewkerne and Axminster railway stations provide convenient links to London and Exeter.
