The Amethyst at Halls Lake, Algonquin Highlands

This newly renovated two-bedroom lakeside country cottage is our most recent jewel and fast becoming the most sought-after cottage here at Loralea Resort. Whether with family, friends, or a romantic weekend away, the Amethyst Cottage is an ideal choice for all. Privately situated and only steps from Halls Lake, the view is breathtaking, and the atmosphere serene. Our lodging best fits a maximum of 4 adults and 1 child (Age 0-12). The space Along with all new appliances, bedding, furnishings, and flooring, there are expansive high vaulted ceilings, a large picture window with a sunrise view, and a spacious deck for your added comfort and enjoyment. Another added feature unique to this cottage is the private dock for mooring a boat, or just sitting back and dropping a line in the water, plus a ladder for easy access to take a dip. Keep your camera handy! The sun rising across the lake is a moment you'll definitely want to capture. There is a queen bed in each of the two bedrooms, 3-piece bath, full kitchen, electric fireplace, TV with Netflix capability, propane barbecue, and a private fire pit. We are once again providing comforters, blankets, and pillows for our guests. However, you are more than welcome to bring your own if it's more comfortable for you. We also provide clean fitted and flat bed sheets as these can be properly managed in the time allotted between guest arrivals and departures. Guest access Please Note: Regretfully, we can no longer allow cats at our cottage. It's unfortunate, but irreversible damages to furniture, curtains and carpets by a few has forced us to implement this change. If it is absolutely necessary for your cat to accompany you, please let us know. Other things to note Please Note: our cabin is part of a larger resort with other cabins and other guests. The on-site amenities are shared (i.e. volleyball and badminton net horseshoes, canoes, paddle boats, shuffleboard, basketball and kayaks). If privacy is a concern, don't worry because our resort is large enough in a way that will grant you full privacy within your cabin.
