Cob’s Cabin is a 2-story house (basement not complete yet) situated on 14 ac. on Bald Knob Rd. (on back side of Windrock). No trailering required. Less than 1/2 mile from Trail 26 & 27. Very close to Historic Brushy Mountain Prison/Distillery, Brushy Mountain Pit Stop & Grill. 30 minute ride to Gobey and Caryville Flats. 1 hour ride to Brimstone. 15 minute drive to Wartburg where you can explore Nemo, Gobey, MoCo Brewing Project, Frozen Head State Park and Obed Wild & Scenic River Ntl Park, etc. The house was built in the 90’s. The top floor is completely redone and includes a large, open-space den, dining and kitchen area. The den includes a beautiful gas fireplace surrounded by stone, stone hearth and hand-hewn log mantle. There is a couch with lights, USB ports and recliners on each end. The other couch is a large sleeper-sofa. Looking from the kitchen into the den there is a large counter-type bar where the large TV is viewable as well. The kitchen is more than fully stocked with the basics and then some. The dining area has a bar-height table and 5 chairs. You can exit this area and enjoy the large deck that expands to three sides of the top floor. There is a full-bath in the hallway before the 2 bedrooms. The large bedroom includes a king bed, walk-in closet and a smart TV. The smaller bedroom includes a queen bed, wardrobe, smart TV and small en-suite full bath. The property includes a fire pit and a lit space under the main deck for corn-hole games, etc. The property has a full-basement that will be available later in 2023. Also on the property are 2 carports for parking out of the weather, gravel driveway and gravel parking areas. The property has a very large front yard and beautiful mountain acreage behind to take small hikes. Top floor only! Basement with laundry room, game room, bunk house is an on-going project at this time. Available anytime by phone, text, Airbnb message. This is the neighborhood my wife grew up in. This property was actually her grandparents land previously. Great neighbors who are very welcoming to respectful groups. You can ride ATVs on Bald Knob Road which leads directly to the trails. You can also legally ride on Hwy. 116. Keep in mind, this property is a project that isn’t complete yet. Full basement renovations in the works. Also, RV/Camper hook-ups in the near future.
