Enjoy the unique & memorable experience of staying in a spacious, light filled geodesic dome. Watch the stars at night or the sunrise in the morning from the lounge or bedroom! Unique architecture, peaceful location, surrounded by gardens & at the end of a quiet street. 2 Queen beds, 1 bathroom, sleep 2 guests. Onsite parking. 15 min walk to local train station. 5 minutes drive to Wentworth Falls, 10-15 mins to the 3 Sisters & the sites of Leura & Katoomba. A stay with a difference. The space Staying in a dome is unlike any other building, it's geometry, spaciousness and ambience promotes a feeling of awe, peace and tranquility - a great place to relax and unwind! Our dome has been handcrafted with lots of love. Our vision was to build a sustainable, environmentally friendly building and we were fascinated by the sacred geometry of domes. We have used mainly recycled and natural materials and we make an effort to only use eco-friendly cleaning products and toiletries to minimise any chemical pollutants. It is self contained, with a private entrance, onsite parking and includes a kitchen with a small oven, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and some staples such as milk, oil and seasonings. All linen and towels are supplied as well as basic toiletries. This listing is for 2 guests only. Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor with a queen sized bed and attached bathroom, please note this is the only bathroom. Upstairs is a large mezzanine level that also has a queen bed. There are fans available in every room, however there is no air conditioning in the Dome. There is gas heating available in Winter and colder months. Out the back there is a covered verandah with a table and chairs and table tennis table available for guest use. Wifi is available as well as Chromecast which gives you options for streaming movies and other programs through Netflix, Prime etc. Guest access The small dome is fully self-contained. It is connected to the main residence ( a larger dome) by an enclosed atrium but guests have their own exclusive space and privacy as well as a private entrance. Guests also have access to outside areas including covered back verandah with seating and table tennis table. Other things to note The main bathroom is attached to bedroom 1 on the ground floor. It is an accessible bathroom with level floor for the shower. There are grab rails near shower and toilet. We have a small family dog who lives on the property who has no access to guest areas. The Blue Mountains National park is home to many native animals, some endangered. If screen doors are left open it will encourage visits from lizards, skinks and spiders.
