This modern farmhouse is where we live. We welcome you to hang your hat and stay a while. Enjoy the upstairs loft with a private room, and an open multipurpose area with a large desk overlooking the fireplace. There is a private downstairs bathroom for you. We invite you to share our common living room, dining and kitchen. Guests love to view the dairy cows, stars, and gardens. The space The loft space is full-sized with one and a half bedrooms, an office area overlooking the fireplace, and a toy closet, perfect for a small family or someone who wants space to spread out their work. The shared living room is modern with high ceilings and flows into a large kitchen where you are welcome to cook. Rustic charms include a stone fireplace, barn doors and an Amish country setting. Guest access This listing includes use of the entire upstairs and full sized main floor bathroom with a huge shower. The loft desk is the perfect spot for crafting or sewing, or working on the laptop. Kids toys and games and books are in the loft cabinets. You have shared use of the living room, the kitchen, kitchen utensils, refrigerator, dishwasher, dining room, and washer and dryer. Closets with supplies that are off limits will be locked. The garage is not being rented out as part of this listing. Our cats are friendly and may want a cuddle, but we will respect your space and keep them downstairs or outside while you are guests if you wish. During your stay I love interacting with my guests, so feel free to chat and ask questions during your stay. Texting is always an easy way to ask about your stay or let me know how I can accommodate you best. We can offer great advice for where to capture great nature photos, or where to visit local Amish produce and baked goods stands. We will be at home in the morning and evening to feed and care for the animals and the gardens, but you will have a lot of time to relax and enjoy the space and property privately too. This is our home and we do want to welcome you and make you feel like family. Other things to note You may want to bring barn boots (rain boots usually work great) and dress in layers, as weather changes. We have a couple of cats and a dog who may charm you into cuddle time.
