Private city retreat; Cozy Studio w/backyard.

Truly in the heart of Portland's east side, this dreamy + cozy oasis is the perfect sanctuary to welcome you home. Located in the famous Laurelhurst neighborhood- straddling the NE & SE sections- you'll have easy access to all things Portland (walking, driving, public transportation). A completely private studio apt with stylish touches inside, this gem also opens onto a luscious backyard right outside your door; perfect for the fur babies too! Come make your Portland experience extra special. The space This quiet, serene and private studio is tucked away in the backyard garden of our main house. An entirely separate apt, surrounded by vibrant flora and greenery, opens onto the outdoor space and your cozy patio. Perfect for anyone seeking calm, beauty, and a peaceful escape. With thoughtful and unique decor for an aesthetically pleasing good time, the studio is also filled with natural light throughout the day. The kitchen packs a big punch in a small package, with everything you'll need for a 'home away from home' meal: microwave, air fryer, induction burner, pots and pans, Chemex pour-over with coffee provided, a variety of teas, sugar, basic cooking staples, and a mini fridge with freezer. Rest easy on a full-sized mattress with deluxe pillows—routinely praised by our guests for comfort and restful sleep. (*Though if you’re significantly over 6ft tall, since the bed has ends, this may not be the most spacious spot for you. Just to keep in mind). You’ll also find the comfort of a newly installed A/C and heater, plus essentials like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. And of course, if something else is needed, I'm just right next door in the main house and happy to assist you 😊 Guest access The backyard is a shared space with the main house. You may see us out there from time to time, definitely more so in the warmer months. But we like to give our guests plenty of privacy! More often than not I don't really run into guests. There's also plenty of space to share :) Other things to note I have a very sweet 80lb dog, Rosie, who you may meet roaming around the backyard. She loves new people and saying Hi. She’s great with kids; sometimes overly excited but all that means is extra face licks. If you’re bringing a pet please let me know how they are with other dogs. Rosie is super friendly but under certain circumstances can act territorial in her yard with new dogs. But after a good first meeting she loves for life. And they definitely don’t have to meet, there are plenty of times where guests and I don’t run into each other, but initial communication about it is good. Thank you.
