Perfect Peak District place to stay

We'd like to welcome you to stay with us in our beautiful home, in a Grade ll listed stone cottage built c1750, located in the centre of an idyllic Peak District village. We offer a charming spacious room with a king size double bed, seating area, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, and en suite shower room. The room is perfect for a couple, and we can offer use of a cot and highchair for a baby (up to 1yr). Please note we have two cats. The space Ours is a very comfortable old house with wood burner stoves and beamed ceilings, with a pretty cottage garden. Your room is a part of our house, on the first floor. I include a simple breakfast of toast and homemade jams, cereal and juice, which I will put out for you in the dining room to help yourself. I can also offer cooked breakfasts, using our own eggs and other local produce, for a small extra cost. Guest access Guests are welcome to share the dining room downstairs. Our garden is a lovely sun trap and guests are welcome to eat or relax in the garden. Please note we do have hens (but no cockrel!) We have secure storage for bikes and easy parking for cars, with an EV charge point. During your stay Arrival time is by arrangement, when you book please let me know roughly what time you're thinking of getting here and we can agree a check in time. We're happy to offer advice and information about things to do and places to go. We are keen cyclists and can offer advice on some good routes round here. We've also got a comprehensive set of tools if you need to do any repairs. We have travelled extensively and look forward to returning some favours to travellers coming to our part of the world. Other things to note Do check out local events - we are about 20 minutes drive from Buxton (Opera festival and Fringe), Chatsworth (numerous events), Bakewell (annual show) and many more. Plus the Tissington well dressings, YNOT festival and festivals in Ashbourne & Wirksworth are right on our doorstep!
