'Inside, The Village' is a 'village in the village'. A village with 5 old wooden houses, relocated from Maramures. Designed to offer those they host a second home, privacy and comfort. They are designed for guests to enjoy the experience of staying in a house built of natural materials, to warm up at the mouth of the stove, to eat local organic products, to connect with nature, with the roots, and most importantly, with themselves. "Take a step inside yourself!" The space 'Bibliotheca' is our biggest home- with a capacity of 4-6 people, it consists of 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room, separate dedicated dining room, private garden with a hammock, 2 outdoor terraces with a stunning mountain view, and an upstairs open space place crafted especially for hanging out/movie nights/reading, and acting as an additional sleeping space. On the ground floor, you will find the kitchen, which is fully equipped with a stove, oven, fridge+freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, utensils, pots and pans, cooking oil and spices, and everything you need so that you can enjoy hearty home-made meals just as you would in your own home. Next to the kitchen, there is the spacious living room with a comfortable sofa (which can also accommodate one person), book shelves and a clay fireplace manually crafted by a ceramic artist, so that during the colder months you can cozy up by the fireplace with your favourite tea and a good book from our vintage books selection. Adjacent to the living room, we have a dedicated dining space (with a large dining table that sits 6 people), from which you can walk outside onto one of the outdoor terraces and enjoy the fresh countryside air while taking in the beautiful views. Downstairs there is also a large full bathroom with a shower. Upstairs you will find the 2 separate bedrooms, each with their own on-suite bathroom. The main bedroom is fitted with a king size bed, and a spacious sofa which, if needed, can be turned into a single bed to accommodate a person/child. The second bedroom has two twin beds. Upstairs there is also a large open-space place which was designed to serve as a second living room- but cosier: perfect for hanging out, game nights, movie nights, or simply curling up with a good book or taking a nap tucked away in the soft blankets and pillows. This space can also accommodate 2 people if needed. The house is perfect for groups of friends, families, or any nature lover who wants to spend time with their loved ones in a private, cosy and comfortable countryside cottage. Our concept is that every guest rents a home that they can treat as they would their own. You have full exclusive access to your home, as well as the closed circuit garden and terraces, which are for you to enjoy and will allow you to spend your time as you wish without being disturbed, as you would in your own home. Other things to note Our beautiful and charming houses would not be the same if they were newly built. Their uniqueness and character come from the fact that they are built of old wood and that they are, in all respects, traditional houses, restored to suit our everyday comfort, while capturing the roots and origins of our culture. That's why it's important to keep in mind that you won't find the same level of comfort here as in a hotel or city apartment. Part of the beauty of the experience of staying in our cottages is also due to the rural location, but that means that you may encounter insects, wild animals, dust and anything else that is naturally found in country life.
