Nearby attractions include the National Mining Museum which is a mere 10 minutes drive and where you can take an underground tour. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park, an internationally renowned open-air museum with a vast collection of contemporary sculptures is just 15 minutes away and in 20 minutes, you can be at either Cannon Hall or The Hepworth Gallery. 30 minutes takes you to the Royal Armouries in Leeds or the grand stately home of Wentworth Castle. Huddersfield itself is a 20 minute drive and where you can explore the splendid architecture of Huddersfield Town Hall or visit the Lawrence Batley Theatre for live performances, and nature lovers can head to the Peak District National Park, in just over half an hour for breathtaking hikes and scenic vistas.
