Child and dog friendly. The space This 6 bedroom, 5,500 sq ft house sits on landscaped grounds along Montezuma's main street. Enter through the grand front porch into the central hall, with two grand arches and 14 foot ceilings. This property was a film set for the Discovery Channel documentary ‘Very Scary People’ and highlighted in the August 2023 edition of Georgia Southwest Living magazine. The ground floor hosts a living room with seating for nine, piano, working gas fireplace, and large, westward-facing windows. Across the hall is the library and game room, with full size ping pong table, games, puzzles, and thousands of books. The dining room is separated by French doors and has a 12 person table, custom lighting, and contemporary artworks. The chef's kitchen, with picture windows onto the backyard and swimming pool, has two sinks, a large island, and a professional 36" 6-burner stove. The sunny eat-in kitchen also has a family room with 65" TV The kitchen opens onto a large, screened-back porch with dining for 10. Through the screen door is bench-seating on a large, elevated patio. The fully-fenced half-acre backyard has a 42 x 16' salt water swimming pool with an 8 x 5' jacuzzi, great for laps, loungers, and families. Sun chairs catch the light under stately pecan trees. The outdoor area is serviced by a pool house with outdoor kitchen with 4-burner Blackstone Griddle, Weber Gas grill, sink, and 96" under counter fridge. We have a bocce court, outdoor dining in the 'secret garden,' and a lazy hammock under the cherry laurels, with parking for up to 10 cars in the adjacent gravel parking lot. The primary bedroom, located on the main level, has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom with soaking tub, two 48" vanities with a separate WC, and a large walk-in shower. Five more bedrooms are on the second floor, accessed by a beautiful curving staircase. Two of the upstairs bedrooms are en-suite, while three share a central bathroom. There is also a full bathroom located off the kitchen, a half bath in the pool house, and an outdoor shower. The house has 1gig fiber internet with coverage for the entire property, including outdoors; one TV in the kitchen's sitting room, one in the clubhouse, and one on the ground level master bedroom all with subscription services (HBO Max, Prime, Netflix, Peacock, MUBI, etc), one in the bedroom upstairs; every bedroom has a dedicated work space for WfH. The salt water swimming pool and jacuzzi can be both heated and cooled year-round. The daily fee to heat the pool is $75 dollars; heating the jacuzzi is complimentary. This house is pet-friendly with a $45 pet fee per pet, per night. We added a playset in the back yard which includes 3 swings, a 10 ft slide and other fun activities for kids from ages of 2 to 12. We also added a Bow Flex home gym in the clubhouse. If you need a crib, pak n play, or high chairs for your visit, please let us know ahead of time. Guest access Guests will have access to all the house and amenities. Other things to note Contact us prior to booking for events, weddings, large gatherings, etc.. If you are looking for catered meals, yoga classes, transportation services for your stay, please let us know ahead of time. We can’t accept reservations from accounts without previous reviews. If you have a local account, please inquire prior to booking. Must be 25 and over to book. Need to verify all IDs of guests staying in the property prior to arrival. We have a pool maintenance person stop by weekly to check chemicals and clean pool. We have a weekly lawn maintenance program in place where someone stops by weekly to mow the lawn in front and back yard. No smoking on property, and no unauthorized guests. $500 smoking fee applies to any smoking done on property. Please Note: Our pool is maintained regularly, but all guests swim at their own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children must be supervised at all times. We are not liable for accidents, injuries, or adverse reactions related to pool use.
