Centrally located in North Carolina, nestled in the Uwharrie Mountains. this one of a kind ultimate off grid belltent glampsite experience is sure to make lifetime memories. With access to the Uwharrie National Forest, North Carolina Zoo and much more withing 25 minutes. If you enjoy adventure and outdoor activities this is the place for you. Offering secluded yet easy access to provisions and shopping The space This is an elevated off grid belltent glamping experience. We have a 16' diameter canvas bell tent on an elevated deck with a private 8x10' covered balcony. Under the deck is a full outdoor area with picnic table, ceiling fan, hammocks, and swinging chairs all covered from the rain. There is an outdoor shower with on demand propane hot water heater (set both water and gas to low, make sure water valve is on, make sure gas valve is on, then turn on battery box), with water supplied from a rain catch barrel. You will need you to bring your favorite towels, please bring biodegradable soap. There is a full outdoor kitchen with propane stove, oven, flattop, charcoal grill, ice chest (requires ice) and cooking equipment, it is covered to protect from the rain. There is a composting toilet in the outhouse. The lights are on a light sensor but you may need to turn them on using the button on the panel its connected to. There is a portable ac (requires ice), we do have space heaters outside and a heater in the tent for those colder days of the year, and a solar generator battery pack to power all of your electronic accessories (if its been cloudy for days the battery may not be fully charged). We have a 70 foot zipline that is to be used at your own risk, we do not accept responsibility for any injuries during the use or misuse of the zipline. Please be aware that this is an off grid glamping site which foes require knowledge of how tonise gad and propane equipment as well as a general familiarity with primitive camping and the use of solar and offgrid equipment. While we do encourage you to stay we want to make sure that you understand this is not a hotel and it's not a simple as flicking on a light switching. Guest access you'll have access to everything on the .7 acre property Other things to note This is off grid. We have everything you need for an elevated galmourous camping experience. However, there is no central heat and air but we do have a portable ac as well as propane heaters, there is no public water/ sewer, public power. You will need to bring your own food, drinking/ cooking water and ice for your stay. You will need to be able and capable of using a propane powered generator, propane cooking equipment, solar powered equipment. Please be aware that this is a tent and if the weather is extremely hot or cold it will affect how comfortable your stay is even though we do have heaters and Air-conditioners.
