Little Otto - Half-timbered house

In our vacation home "Kleiner Otto" you breathe the history of the city of Erfurt. You are staying in a half-timbered house built in 1897 by Otto Schwade. Also known as a "pump swarm", Otto built the city's first townhouse settlement. Since he also made aircraft engines (like the "steel heart") in addition to pumps of all kinds and had to wait regularly, he put his masters and engineers in the factory nearby workers' living facility with 11 small cottages. It is currently under monument protection today. The space We have lovingly renovated our "Little Otto" last year and started the rental in September 2023. Meanwhile living in southern Germany, we are always happy to come back home and live in our half-timbered house several times a year. If we are not on site, we would like to share our favorite place with other people. The "Kleine Otto" offers an open living-dining area with spacious kitchen and small guest toilet on the ground floor. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms, a beautiful bathroom with rain shower, and a cute reading nook. Our cottage is very well equipped with Smart TVs, dishwasher and washer, microwave, oven, coffee maker, stove and hair dryer. Bedding and towel are also included. It can accommodate 4 people and a baby. In summer, you will have a cozy outdoor area with a seating area and a barbecue. This is currently being completed and will be ready by 2024. Due to the very good location in Erfurt-Daberstedt, you can reach the city center in a few minutes. Nearby is also the swimming and ice rink, the Thuringian Landtag and the Polyklinik. Within walking distance you can quickly reach the butcher, supermarket, the bakery, and a pharmacy. The tram stop is also within a 3-minute walk and will get you quickly to your desired destination. Guest access You have access to the house with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, an open living-dining area with kitchen and the small outdoor area behind the house. Other things to note Parking is available (due to the monument protection) only directly on the street. About 50 m further in the side street you will also find parking (in front of the school).
