The relaxing interior has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a full kitchen that is very well stocked, (dishwasher, stove/oven, full-size refrigerator), lots of seasonings, a bathroom with shower/tub, and a living room with views of the lake. Dish TV with Roku, YouTube, and lots of DVDs for you to choose from, and Wi-Fi. Dedicated workspace upon request. Bird watching is great! 2 Bald Eagles, 2 American Eagles, Blue Herons, Blue Birds and so many more live here, with other wildlife to observe. I even have a flock of Yellow Finches that feed daily at my feeders and several Humming Birds during the season. Children 8 and over and infants are welcome. There is direct access to the lake Safety is my concern. Small and medium size dogs are welcome. Dogs must be on leash per Lake Adger Homeowners Association guidelines. Please advise of type and size. Please note that there is a "sign" at the top of the driveway stating a security camera is in use. This is a deterrent to keep uninvited people off of my property. There are no cameras. Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Wineries, Hiking, and Waterfalls are nearby. Kayaks, a paddle board, floats, a fire pit, and bird watching. Laundry service is available upon request. The views are stunning and the colors inside the house are so fun. The kitchen is very well stocked and the linens were luxurious. I would stay again. I live upstairs with a separate entrance on the upper level. I keep to myself unless you need something. Privacy is always a priority. I like to greet my guests and give them a quick tour of the living space. After that, I keep to myself unless something is needed. It is always very quiet here. A quiet lakefront neighborhood where you can enjoy star gazing at night and the view of the lake by day. Plenty of hiking trails around the lake and lots of attractions nearby. A car is best and there is plenty of parking onsite. You can Uber if you want to. I do have a contact for a reliable person. There are all types of wildlife around the 438-acre lake. They are beautiful to sight from a distance. Do not feed the wildlife. Do not leave food outside.
