'Kingfisher' Lakeside ECO Lodge on Stilts

Quaint lakeside Eco lodge on stilts, set over a beautiful private lake, in the midst of the stunning Worcestershire countryside. If you are looking for an off grid break you can get back to nature at this secluded getaway. The sweet cabin is perfectly put together with double bed, kitchenette & balcony over the lake. Make use of the charcoal BBQ, firepit & outside seating area and enjoy an alfresco supper, a perfect way to escape the daily grind! Enjoy the balcony for relaxing, eating & fishing. The space The space is cosy yet perfectly formed. It consists of a bespoke built double bed, comfy sofa and small desk & chair. There is a kitchenette and a balcony on stilts over the tranquil lake. On the balcony is outside seating and a firepit. Perfect for keeping warm in the evenings. On the lake side next to the lodge is further outside seating and a coal BBQ. Kingfisher is ideal for fishing enthusiasts to sit with their rods or to watch the birds and nature in the beautiful surroundings! The lake boasts 30lb Carp, 5 1/2lb Tench, 20lb Pike. Guest access Guests have access to the whole lodge including the surrounding, woodland and lakeside walks and to the stunning surrounding countryside with plenty of footpaths. Guests are welcome to walk around and enjoy the farm to access footpaths for a beautiful countryside walk. We also have a nearby lake where we offer all things wellness; Open Water swimming, Stand up paddle boarding, yoga, sound baths, SUP yoga, personal training sessions. All guests receive 10% off activities. Please ask for more info or visit insta at Watersedge dot club Other things to note Please note that this cabin has a kitchenette which consists of a microwave, kettle, toaster and mini fridge. There is an outdoor charcoal Kadai (charcoal provided, April-Sept), but no hob, grill or cooker. There is deliberately no TV or WIFI to allow our guests to relax, enjoy the nature and unwind from the outside world. Please note that as this is an ECO property if all of the hot water in the tank is used up you will need to locate the hot water boost switch which is behind the door as you walk in. Please press this and wait half an hour for it to warm up. Guests also need to be mindful of electricity usage. Kingfisher is an off grid Eco lodge so multiple power outlets can not be ran at the same time. If an excessive amount of electricity is used there will be a period of time when the electricity will need to re generate. PLEASE NOTE: THIS HOLIDAY HOME IS LOCATED IN A PEACEFUL RURAL SETTING AND WE KINDLY ASK GUESTS TO RESPECT THE SURROUNDINGS AND KEEP NOISE LEVELS TO A MINIMUM. PLEASE NO LOUD MUSIC. The lake below the lodge is a fishing lake. Fishing is an extra charge. We do ask that you do not fish from the balcony as lifting such large fish so high can damage the fish. It is a catch and release policy.
