Bayview at Pine Point is located approximately 15 miles to the local four universities in Potsdam and Canton (Clarkson, St. Lawrence, SUNY Potsdam, SUNY Canton), which makes it a great place for visiting families to spend time together! Not to mention all the great outdoor activities offered locally, such as hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing, leaf peeping, etc! The Cottage at Pine Point is located directly next door and can also be rented at the same time for additional space! Our guests have private access to the entire residence. Bayview offers a standard kitchen, a comfortable living room, a full bath and three bedrooms on the main floor. Downstairs you have access to a second full bath with a stand up shower, a washing machine and dryer. We have a playground in the back yard that is available for your use - at your own risk, but that is also shared with the individuals who share our waterfront. Outside we offer patio furniture and a bonfire pit for your enjoyment! We provide roasting forks and a little kindling and fire wood for you to enjoy. And of course, you have access to the waterfront! Our waterfront is shared with the neighbors on both sides of Bayview at Pine Point. Our property extends from the tree line to the left of our neighbors home on the left (as you look at the waterfront) and to the tree line to the right of our neighbors on the right side as well. Think of it as a slice of pie with the three homes sitting on the crusts which are private, and the parcels of property to the water are shared by all three homes! Our waterfront extends forty feet providing adequate access, our beach front is nice and sandy so bring sand toys if you’d like! We have a few Adirondack chairs , a swing, and a picnic table near the waterfront for everyone’s use. We do ask that you fill in any holes or trenches dug into the sand when not in use, and that you place any toys or belongings like Kayaks or water toys you bring off to the right of the waterfront out of every one else’s way so no one trips! We do not provide kayaks or canoes, but we do provide a paddle boat for your enjoyment. Please feel free to bring kayaks or other items you’d like, however, we do not have boat or jet ski access. Our neighbors also enjoy their waterfront as do we, so we are diligent to observe our property lines and not infringe on their property. We will send photos to our guests to show the lines so there is no question. Guests have full access to the residence and it’s patios, including a private bonfire pit. You also have shared access to the waterfront and that outside space. We live nearby and are always available as needed! We prefer to use one of the following methods to communicate- either the Airbnb app to message through, or text message or phone calls are always welcome! We are located in a rural, rustic area in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. As such we also offer all of the beauty that goes along with that, a great view of the flow, birds chirping, squirrels and chipmunks running around and a relaxing atmosphere! Our property is adjacent to an RV camper park which we drive through to reach our driveway entrance. We are approximately 20 miles from any shopping experience, accessing Route 56 and approximately 15 miles to both Canton and Potsdam which puts us extremely convenient to the four universities, Clarkson, St. Lawrence, SUNY Potsdam and SUNY Canton! And to many great dining experiences! Many people use vehicles to travel the area, and we have parking access for two vehicles. Bayview at Pine Point sits directly next door to The Cottage at Pine Point, they actually share our waterfront and some outdoor space! They can be booked together for a unique vacation getaway for families looking to vacation together! Our waterfront is a slow and gradual increase which makes for a nice spot for little ones or those learning to swim! Unfortunately, we do not have a boat dock or the ability to allow boats or jet skis, but many people have enjoyed kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding! Please note- due to where we live, our WiFi is a satellite service which is dependent on the weather. Therefore we can not ensure coverage.
