The space Located on the Thiers plateaus, (Borbes tourist circuit) in the heart of the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park, the former Faux Martel estate was converted into a gîte in 2016. Calm and quiet and only 5 km from the city center, the rural and natural environment is preserved with an unobstructed view of the Chaîne des Puys (classified by UNESCO). The area is also classified as a refuge by the LPO for the protection and observation of birds. Ideal location to discover Auvergne: hiking trails, mountain bike trails, equestrian tourism, swimming at the Iloa leisure center and St Rémy lake 15 min away. All shops and entertainment in Thiers: Coutelia art knife festival, Pamparina, visit to the medieval city, the valley of factories, the cutlery museum and the contemporary art center… Access by the Thiers Est or Thiers Ouest highway in 15 min. Vichy and Clermont-Fd 40 min, Lyon 1h15. Character house adjoining another gite. It consists of a living room with wood stove on the ground floor, a kitchen/dining room with insert and access to the south-facing terrace and a shower room/toilet. On the first floor there is a bedroom with 1 bed 160 (or 2 beds 80), a bedroom with 1 bed 160 (or 2 beds 80) and 1 bed 90, a bathroom and a separate toilet. The large adjoining unfenced plot with terrace is ideal for outdoor dining. Heating with a wood burning stove and fireplace (free wood) and electric heating according to consumption. Non-smoking gîte. Possibility of renting with gîte 1254 = gîte 1561 for 9 people.
