The Willows Shepherds Hut

The Willows is a self contained shepherds hut set in the garden of the owners home that backs onto the Norfolk Broads. We are located 30 minutes from Norwich, 30 minutes from Latitude festival, 20 minutes from Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth and 15 minutes from the historic market town of Beccles. Haddiscoe train station is approx. 5 minutes away. This is a perfect quiet getaway with lots of wild life including deer for a solo traveller or couple wishing to escape the busyness of life. The space The Willows is fully insulated for all year round use with underfloor heating, a king size bed, dining table & chairs, a well equipped kitchen area with fridge, combined cooker, two electric hobs, toaster, kettle and TV. There is some storage under and beside the bed. There is Wi Fi and a TV available however the Wi-Fi can be temperamental due to our remote location. This is a quiet location with lots of wild life and animals that will come into the garden, particularly deer. Please be aware we have our own dogs and cats that may say hello but shouldn't bother you. The outside - There is a picnic table and garden space (a boundary sketch is located in the hut). Off road private parking, we will meet you on arrival to explain our set up. Guest access The Willows is within our own property with parking off road close to the hut in our private driveway. A boundary sketch is available marking out areas you are welcome to explore. Other things to note There are many activities in the local area - leaflets are available in the hut. No pets - please be aware we have our own dogs and cats. Unfortunately this shepherds hut is not suitable for children No loud music due to wildlife and animals Tents: During the spring/summer months (May-Sep) there is room for 1x two person tent to be pitched close to the shepherds hut for an additional charge of £10 a night (we do not provide camping equipment or tent). Please note that tent occupants would have to use the bathroom and other facilities in the shepherds hut. Please let us know if this is something you would like to add.
