1 mile from downtown,The Sourdough Lodge is one of the longest-running hospitality spots in Wrangell, Alaska, w/ multiple rooms for large and small groups. Please reach out for more information on multi-guest reservations. Free parking and wifi is a plus!-although I wouldn't come to rural Alaska for the great wifi ! Your tour departures, restaurants, museum & Wrangell history are a short walk "around the bay" !! Variety of rooms with twin and king options! Please reach out for multi-guest accommodations and pricing. Guests are welcome to entertain themselves in the Great Room, when not in use for private events. A great space to relax, play cards, and talk about the days adventure. Guests are also welcome to use the dining area with Keurig, microwave, and lite morning snacks ! Signs are posted around the Lodge with contact information for your hosts Jill & Zach. Sourdough Lodge is a great place to stay for the independent traveler. Quiet neighborhood on one side, light-industrial and harbor on the other side. Guests can expect to hear some road noise (speed limit of 20 on the nearby road) and the neighbor's turkeys on occasion. Easy walk on a paved sidewalk all the way to downtown Wrangell! Free parking in our spacious parking lot Wrangell , Alaska is located at the mouth of the Stikine River on Lingit Aani, a small but beautiful chunk of Alaska's vast landscape. You can enjoy waterfront walks, bear viewing, jet boat rides up the stikine river, and seals playing at Leconte Glacier. There's an endless bounty of beauty in Wrangell and a sense of time slowing down with the small town atmosphere.
