Gite of the Monchel sur Canche mill

Our mill is over 900 years old and produced flour thanks to the water of the Canche. Today, after a thorough renovation, it has become a family and atypical accommodation on 2 floors. In the heart of the Monchel fish farm and next to the fishing ponds, we offer a quiet stay in a beautiful cottage mixing the modern and the old. Our location is central: less than an hour from Arras, Amiens, Le Touquet, the Opal Coast or the Bay of Somme. The space On the ground floor, the living room is composed of 3 parts. A fully-equipped kitchen with furniture, dishes and appliances to prepare your delicious meals A relaxation area around a pellet fireplace with a sofa and armchairs One dining area Separate toilet On the first floor, 2 bedrooms composed of a double bed with 2 nightstands, a rattan armchair, bed linen for two people. A very functional bathroom with double sink, shower cabin, large mirror, plenty of storage, towel dryer, hair dryer with view of the fishing courses. 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per guest On the second floor, large dormitory with 6 single beds. Beautiful space to spend pleasant nights, you can admire when you wake up the mechanism of the water mill that we have kept in order to preserve the character of our old building. The room is composed of 6 single beds with the possibility of arranging them as double beds, a children's desk, bedside tables, as well as bed linen. Guests can also enjoy a magnificent view of the fish farming and fish breeding ponds.
