Gite of the Monchel sur Canche mill

Our mill is over 900 years old and produced flour from the water of the Canche. Today after a deep renovation it has become a family and atypical accommodation on 2 floors. In the heart of the Monchel fish farm and next to the fishing ponds, we offer you a peaceful stay in a magnificent gîte combining the modern and the old. Our location is central: less than an hour from Arras, Amiens, Le Touquet, the Côte d'Opale or the Baie de Somme. The space On the ground floor, the living room is made up of 3 parts. A kitchen fully equipped with furniture, dishes and appliances to prepare good meals A relaxation area around a pellet fire with a sofa and armchairs A dining area separate WC On the first floor, 2 bedrooms with a double bed with 2 bedside tables, a rattan armchair, bed linen for two people. A very functional bathroom with double basin, shower cabin, large mirror, plenty of storage, towel dryer, hair dryer with a view of the fishing grounds. 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per traveler On the second floor, large dormitory with 6 single beds. Magnificent space to spend pleasant nights, you can admire when you wake up the mechanism of the water mill that we have kept in order to preserve the character of our old building. The bedroom is made up of 6 single beds with the possibility of being converted into a double bed, a children's desk, bedside tables, as well as bed linen. You can also enjoy a magnificent view of the fishing ponds of the fish farm and the breeding of fish.
