The Lookout is an upscale, brand new, year round, lakeside rental home on beautiful Lake Belle Taine, in Nevis, MN. This modern, contemporary home has been designed specifically for the purpose of being a vacation rental, thus providing a luxurious and comfortable setting for your stay. With stunning views of Lake Belle Taine and modern amenities, you will be able to relax and unwind in style.  The Lookout on Lake Belle Taine in Nevis, MN has been named for its glorious views of the lake from every room and floor. The Lookout provides comfortable sleeping for 16 guests. Sleeping arrangements include three master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, walk in closets, a queen bedroom, three kids cubbies with twin XL beds, one full size loft bedroom, and two pull out queen sofa sleepers. The Lookout is located directly on the shore of Lake Belle Taine for great swimming, boating, water fun, and fishing. The Heartland trail is close by for biking and walking. There is easy access to hundreds of miles of trails for ATV riding and snowmobiling. Guests are entitled to the entire private home except two closets which are locked for supplies. Lake Belle Taine is a beautiful, clean, clear lake that is great for swimming, boating, water activities, and fishing. Black Bullhead, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Largemouth Bass, Muskie, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, Rock Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Yellow Bullhead and Yellow Perch can be found in Lake Belle Taine. Nevis hosts many fun restaurants and bars as well as mini golf, a small grocery store, laundromat, liquor store, candy store, ice cream shop, and locally owned boutiques for shopping. There are three locations in Nevis to enjoy outdoor bands, food, and cocktails! Nevis is also home to the largest Tiger Muskie available for great tourist photos! Park Rapids, located to the west, is the closest bigger town with Walmart, grocery stores, numerous bars and restaurants, many boutiques for shopping, and much more for tourists to enjoy. The Lookout on Lake Belle Taine is located directly across from the largest fireworks show in the area! Watch from the deck, the platform, the dock, your boat or floaty, of even from inside the house! Walker is the larger town to the east located on Leech Lake. Walker also has many boutique shops for browsing, many restaurants and bars, and Northern Lights Casino. The town of Nevis is two miles down the highway from The Lookout. Popular modes of transportation in Nevis include biking, motorcycling, ATVs, and car. Pedego and Northern Cycle in Park Rapids provides rental of electric and pedal bikes for exploring the Heartland trail and surrounding areas.
