Unique farm stay near Rjukan and Vemork

Experience the beautiful nature of Telemark and the rich and dramatic history of Rjukan with a stay at the old brewer's log house. Stay in the midst of high mountains, the Hardangervidda National Park, the steep pastures and lush forests, as well as the Rjukan-Notodden UNESCO World Heritage area, representing crucial sites in Norwegian industrial history and key events from WW II. The Berghei family farm at Veset is recently established, but people have lived at the site since the Vikings. The space In this old log cabin you'll have access to one bedroom, a bathroom and a combined living room and kitchen area. The bathroom is modern, and the kitchen has all facilities (stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher). In the bedroom you'll find a double bed that can be split in two singles, so the space will suit both couples or two friends. You'll have access to free high-speed wifi on the premises, and if you want to charge your EV this can be arranged with the hosts for a small fee. Interior photos will be added soon. Guest access As a guest you have access to the whole cabin. On the farm, you are allowed to wander around, but please respect closed doors, gates, tools/vehicles/farming equipment, fenced off areas and grazing animals. Other things to note We have several animals on the farm. They are used to people and animals, but please ensure that your children and/or animals do not distress them.
