Inside the home you’ll experience modern charm with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Relax on the sofas after a day spent on the water and watch a movie on the big screen TV that comes loaded with Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Roku, Hulu, HBO Max, Fire TV and Disney+ for you to log into and keep entertained. The living area also doubles as a fourth sleeping space with a comfortable sofa beds to sleep an additional guest. The crisp white kitchen gives you one of the best views out over the lake and comes fully equipped for your stay with stainless steel appliances, a quad door fridge/freezer, coffee, tea and all the cookware, dinnerware and utensils you could need. Eat together in the dining area inside or make your way out onto the patio to dine alfresco style overlooking the lake with a table set for six. You’ll also find a BBQ on the patio ideal for sunny afternoons with family as you watch for free roaming animals and birdlife. There are three spacious bedrooms within the home with each offering comfortable beds and plenty of space to unpack and settle in. The master bedroom features a queen bed, access to the front patio area with two sun lounges and its own ensuite bathroom. Bedroom two is perfect for families with two bunk beds that sleep up to five while the third bedroom is filled with a double bed. Along with the master ensuite, the central bathroom gives you a relaxing bath, a walk in shower and a vanity stocked with all the essentials for your stay so you don’t have to bring a thing. You’ll also have access to the laundry with a washing machine and dryer to keep you feeling fresh. Outside guests can dip their toes in the water from the lake access gates before taking the kayaks out onto the lake or If you prefer to stay on land, two bikes are waiting for their next adventure into town and along the scenic paths (Kayaks and bikes available for hire for an additional cost). For something a little more relaxing, light up the fire pit and enjoy a wine while you take in some of the best sunsets you’ll ever see stretch across the water (no fire allowed during fire danger season). Drive just 10 minutes into the heart of Meningie where you can stock up on supplies at the Foodland Supermarket, eat out at the café or grab a drink at Freshies and sample the local cuisine or venture a little further to discover the Coorong National Park for scenic bird walks, treks, hiking and biking trails. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire home and outdoor areas as well as free Wi-Fi, parking and complimentary coffee/tea. You’ll also have access to the lake and the farm with only certain parts of the property needing the host's permission to access, however the caretaker’s home is off limits to guests at all times. Other things to note Please note that with such a beautiful, lakeside property away from the hustle and bustle, there is limited mobile reception however you will have access to WiFi to help keep you connected. As this is a farm we recommend you bring appropriate footwear during rainy season and to be aware that you are in a rural area and everything that comes with it including insects, dust in the summer, wildlife and gusty wind over the lake on breezy days Guests can also expect unfenced livestock and farm animals to be freely roaming around the property and also just be aware that this is a nature reserve and to be aware and vigilant of snakes. There's more than one accommodation at this property which includes a Caravan Home & Camp Sites for Self Catered Campers. A part of the block as highlighted on the Site Map is kept exclusive for the house guest only. The official fire ban starts in November until further notice. During this period, any kind of fire activities will be unavailable for use (Firepit & Charcoal BBQ). When there is no fire ban, guests are welcome to purchase firewood from property caretakers or the local hardware store/ service station.
