Imagine waking up in the Master Bedroom to a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean! Brilliant blue and turquoise ocean vibrance will saturate the view as you roll out of bed and open the expansive curtains. Huge floor to ceiling windows bring tons of light to this modern and meticulously cared for home which is conveniently located near all of the best activities on the West Side of Maui. Enjoy a romantic dinner with the family on the lanai while the fresh ocean air rejuvenates your spirit. While the ocean view is only from the Master Bedroom, the large lanai encompasses a heartwarming atmosphere, and you can listen to the melody of the waves in the background. Hale O Kalani can comfortably accommodate 4-6 adults and more with its King bed in the Master and a King bed in the guest room both in the loft. The loft consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The guest bedroom can be outfitted with two twin beds to accommodate travelers that would like separate sleeping quarters . The downstairs two sofa chairs and sofa couch which convert to twin beds and a queen sofa bed for extra accommodations. The sofa chair beds would be most comfortable for young adult size and smaller. There are lots of amenities included in this rental such as hair dryers, extra towels, all plastic wear for the pool and a port a crib if needed (please inquire for the crib). This gorgeous 2 bed 2 bath is modern, bright and light and with the washer and dryer in the unit, the only thing you need to leave the unit for is to go play and adventure! Both bedrooms have large closet space and there is a bathroom in the Master and a guest bathroom both upstairs. Perfect for your Island getaway, honeymoon, family vacation and even just a place to come and work remotely while you lounge by the pool. Hale O Kalani offers a beautiful pool and hot tub area. Complete with grills for those pool side bbq fun times! Play a round of tennis or walk directly across the street to one of those most beautiful west side beaches and the famous “S Turns” surf spot. This unit has beach equipment, beach towels, chairs, cooler, water noodles and more! Includes free, unassigned parking. Hale O Kalani is located near all kinds of activities from sushi, pizza parlors, Mexican food, cafés, farmers market and local style food. You can walk to several beach spots and if you prefer you can walk to different happy hours to meet the locals and get the inside scoop on all the fun things to do on Maui! Ideal for anyone traveling with kids of all ages, as the nearby beaches are baby and little one friendly. Rates do not include taxes, cleaning and applicable fees. Each of our homes comes with a property manager. Should you need assistance please feel reach out to the home manager. Environmental Disclosure. Guest acknowledges that the State of Hawaii is exposed to environmental hazards including, but not limited to, tidal waves, hurricanes and floods. Please refer to the local phone book for information pertaining to evacuation procedures. In the event of an emergency, the State of Hawaii utilizes a warning alert system (emergency sirens are tested on the first working day of every month at 11:45 a.m.). Guest is responsible for using their best efforts to familiarize themselves with property, its location, and surroundings. Some of the properties are in a remote location. As such, what would be considered normal response time for public services in an urban area may not be available in this location, i.e., police, fire, and emergency services. Also, naturally dwelling animals, reptiles and fauna are different then might be encountered in an urban setting and some might be considered “pests” by some individuals, i.e., centipedes, geckos, roaches, spiders, rodents, termites, mosquitoes, chickens and coqui frogs. You should be prepared to accept such inconveniences or discomfort as a normal and necessary aspect of renting a home in an area with strong rural character. Also, Guest acknowledges this is a binding contract and cannot be released from the contractual obligations upon arrival. Construction and Neighborhood Disclosure The guest acknowledges homes may be located in a residential setting. Hawaii Life and Owner are not responsible for any inconvenience caused by construction or noise associated with the neighborhood, including but not limited to barking dogs, noisy neighbors, cars, music, construction, events, etc. Guest may call Hawaii Life to inquire as to the status of any neighboring construction or events. Any refunds due to a cancellation resulting from noise shall be subject to the Cancellation Policy. Disclosure and Indemnity. Guest acknowledges, if applicable to Property, the existence of dangers associated with, but not limited to, hot tubs, BBQs, pools, saunas, gym (workout facility) equipment, rivers, lakes, oceans, ponds, playgrounds, golf balls, lofts and ladders. In addition, Guest acknowledges the existence of certain inherent risks to persons and property located in the vicinity of the ocean, including, but not limited to, high surf conditions, dangerous riptides, coral reefs, hurricanes, tropical storms. Guest acknowledges that the Owner would not rent the Property unless Guest fully accepted the risks associated with the Property and its location. In light of the foregoing, Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Owner and Hawaii Life from and against any loss, liability, damage or expense (including legal fees and costs) that Guest may suffer, sustain or become subject to as a result of, or in connection with any injury, accident, or death arising from or related to Guest’s use of the Property. Furthermore, Guest assumes full responsibility for the Property, including its contents and Guest’s personal property. Guest shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that occupants adhere to all rules, regulations and laws affecting the Property. Guest shall not permit the use of pools, hot tubs or exercise equipment (if available) on the Property by any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or by unsupervised minor children. Guest acknowledges that Guest should take precautions when leaving the Property (e.g., lock all doors, including automobiles). Rental equipment used by the Guest is strictly at Guest’s own risk. Owner and Hawaii Life shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or additional expense incurred. Guest acknowledges that Owner and Hawaii Life are not responsible for loss of work due to utility outages. Theft/Burglary/Break In. Disclosure: For the safety of our guests, some homes may use exterior cameras. The home may or may not be equipped with an alarm system. The guest acknowledges that the Guest should take precautions when leaving the Property (e.g., lock all doors/windows, including automobiles). Should theft occur from either interior or exterior of the premises, the local Police should be called and make a police report. The Owner nor Hawaii Life is not responsible to relocate due to these circumstances. The Owner nor Hawaii Life shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or additional expense incurred, including reimbursement of rental funds or loss of personal items. We highly recommend a car. While most neighborhoods are walking friendly, most likely you will need a car to adventure to other areas of the island. House Guidelines 1. Please remove your shoes upon entering and make every effort to keep sand and dirt outside. If your home provides, please use the outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day of hiking or enjoying the beach. 2. Please notify the property manager immediately of any problems with the house so we may quickly address it. 3. Our home is in a residential area. Please be a thoughtful neighbor and keep noise, music, etc. to a minimum between 9:00 pm and 9:00 am. 4. Wrap, store or refrigerate all food and drinks to discourage pests. 5. Trash should always be bagged tightly in plastic bags and deposited in the trash cans. 6. Please feel free to do laundry while you are here. Washing towels and linens helps out during your stay. 7. This is a non-smoking home. 8. If your home offers air-conditioning. We kindly ask that your turn off the units when you are not occupying the rooms. Please let your property manager know should any leaks occur from the units. Check Out Procedures: Please check out at time provided, unless a late check out has been prearranged. Please wash and replace all dishes, cookware, food storage containers, and utensils in their proper place. Lock all doors and replace the key in the lock-box. A $25 fee is charged for lost key. Excessive cleaning, trash, sand in homes, and dirty laundry (more than one set of sheets per bed and two towels per person) will be charged an additional cleaning fee.
