Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Fully refurbished in 2023 Mill Pond Cottage dates to the 1860s and is only 150m from the beach and town centre in the seaside town of Sheringham. A private garden with stream running through makes this the perfect holiday home from home. The space The property is on 3 floors: Ground floor: entrance hall and WC, living room, dining room, kitchen with breakfast bar and tv area, utility room. First floor: 3 bedrooms sleeping 5 (1 king size bed and one twin room/zip’n’link by request and a small double ) bathroom and separate shower room both with WC. 2nd floor: twin bedroom with extra full sized single by request making it a triple room. Private garden with stream (fenced) parking for one car and lockable store for bikes and beach gear. Charcoal BBQ and garden table and chairs. One dog allowed. Varying levels and steep stairs make this unsuitable to the less mobile. Whilst close to the beach (only 150m to the closest beach) and town the cottage has a unique and peaceful atmosphere with the stream running through the garden (fenced for safety) with garden furniture for your use. The property has a well equipped modern fully fitted kitchen with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and Nespresso coffee machine, with the breakfast bar, sofa and smart TV it’s a perfect family space. In the living room is a smart TV with fast broadband and basic package included in the rental, there are numerous games in the cupboards. The living room leads to the dining room with seating for 8. One well behaved dog is allowed at the cottage by pre-agreement and subject to an additional dog charge of £25. A small welcome basket is included. Guest access The whole property is available to use. Other things to note We do allow one well behaved dog however we do ask you confirm prior to booking if you are taking a dog, what breed they are, that they are kept downstairs at all times and not allowed on the furniture and that they are not left alone in the property at any time. There is an additional charge of £25 per dog There are options as to bed arrangements: twin or zip’n’link superking, twin or triple in the attic bedroom. Please confirm any particular requests. There is a travel cot and high chair available to use but please bring your own bedding.
