Nature Lover's Retreat for Large Group

A unique and spacious forest haven for a large family and friends group. Within minutes of Wollongong city centre but completely surrounded by rain forest trees, this house is a wonderful place to find respite as you explore the attractions of Illawarra. Walk down the garden stairs and hear the water bubbling through the creek at the bottom of the hill. You will see possums and dragons visit the edges of the house and hear many birds sing to you in the morning and as the sun sets over the deck. The space The block is a surprisingly rich forest that runs down a hill to a small creek. You can walk about the garden enjoying the natural forest while listening to the water bubble through the creek. This beautiful cedar house has been refurbished with clean and modern kitchen and bathrooms. They are decorated with a minimalist style to help you unwind and find peace away from the city. The entire house has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms. modern TVs, Netflix, WiFi, all linen and towels and a big kitchen with dining areas. With our additional sleeping arrangements, we can sleep up to 18 comfortably. There are 4 queen size beds & 1 bunk bed in the bedrooms. Additional beds include 6 singles and 2 small doubles, all converted sofas- sleeping 2 in one living room, 3 in another living room, and 2 of the large queen rooms have sofa beds sleeping an extra 3, making enough space to accomodate a few families to meet on a holiday getaway, or a large group meeting for whatever the occasion may be. There is a very peaceful and private outdoor deck overlooking the natural escarpment creeks of the Illawarra. Very peaceful, lovely bird life and other wildlife. A great place to relax and unwind, a gorgeous forest oasis within the town of Wollongong. Perfect for large family and friend group get away, yoga retreat or high tea function. A large laundry with washing machines and dryer is located downstairs. The location in Mt Pleasant means you have easy access to both the motorway, Wollongong city and the Wollongong beaches. NOTE: Only one dedicated car park on site. Additional street parks are within 2 minutes walking distance. Guest access Enjoy all areas of the house The entire property includes the garden and meandering forest paths around the house and down to the bubbling creek. It is yours to enjoy as you sit on the deck, or relish in the comfort of indoors, just hearing the sounds of nature. Downstairs is a laundry room. Inside there are 2 washers, a dryer and ironing facilities. There is also a clothesline in the garden where you may dry your clothes. This area may be shared by guests from the tiny house. Other things to note 1. You will need to walk down stairs to access the property. 2. It is important to note that there is only one parking space allocated for you in the drive, to the right. Additional parking is available on the street up, to Elnathan Parade, or down, to Cabbage Tree Lane. 2 minutes walk in to your private retreat.
