The three bedrooms with double beds are located towards the garden and, like the living room, have floor-to-ceiling windows. Two of the rooms, as well as the living room, lead directly onto the large southwest terrace, which borders a small pond with fish, into which a small tributary splashes. Cool evenings can be enjoyed comfortably from the fireplace in the living room. The house has two bathrooms. One with bidet, bathtub and shower and another with shower. In the kitchen equipped with Siemens and Miele appliances with induction stovetop, oven with steam function, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, you can prepare delicious food and drinks, ideal for hobby chefs. For coffee, a filter coffee machine and a Senseo machine are available. There are flat-screen TVs in the lounge and two bedrooms, with a DVD/CD player and smart TV in the lounge. The house has free Internet with Wi-Fi. In front of the garages, of which the right one including a storage room (towards the garden) is rented, there are two to three parking spaces. In the right garage there is a high-voltage connection (without wallbox) for charging an electric car (will be charged on the total electricity consumption of the stay). Munkbrarup is close to Glücksburg (5 km) with its idyllic water castle south of the B 199 between Flensburg and Kappeln. An old mill adorns the entrance to the friendly village. The pretty hilly landscape of Angeln, located between the Schlei in the south, the Baltic Sea in the east, the Flensburg Fjord in the north and Flensburg in the west, invites you to beautiful excursions and experiences. The nearest beach in the municipality of Munkbrarup is in Bockholmwik, about 5 km away and about 9 minutes away by car. It offers a magnificent panoramic view over the fjord to Denmark. Other beaches are in Langballigau (about 10 km), in Glücksburg Meierwik (7 km) and Sandwig (6 km), in Flensburg Solitüde (8 km) on the peninsula Holnis and many more. In the entire area, in Glücksburg and in Flensburg, which is located at the end of the Flensburg Fjord, there is a rich and varied gastronomy in all price ranges as well as a rich cultural life with museums, theaters, cinemas, etc. For water sports enthusiasts, many recreational boat ports are available in Bockholmwik, Langballigau, Flensburg and Glücksburg, among others. A golf course is on the Holnis peninsula (5 km). The surroundings are also varied for hikers and cyclists. Quaint paths lead through the country of Angeln and its villages. On the other side of the Flensburg Fjord is Denmark, South Jutland with the Ochseninseln, the islands of Kaegnes and Alsen, on which the largest city in the south of Denmark, Sonderborg, is idyllically located on the Alsensund and on the fjord (there called Flensborg Fjord). Both in Sonderborg and Graasten are castles of the Danish queen Margrete. It is only 16 km along the fjord to the Danish border. A hiking trail, the Gendarmenpfad, leads on the Danish side over 84 km from Padborg to Höruphav mostly along the north bank of the fjord. A hiking trail also begins in Munkbrarup itself. Shopping is available in Langballig (Edeka, about 5 km) and in Wees (Aldi, Lidl, bakery, pharmacy about 3 km) and of course in Glücksburg and Flensburg. Parents are advised that they must take special care of their children because of the pond in the garden of the vacation home. The same applies to the disabled and their companions. The pond is not suitable for swimming and playing and the landlord cannot accept any liability. The garden is bordered all around by a variety of plants and hedges. It's not completely fenced. Consumption-dependent costs such as district heating (€0.50/kWh), electricity (€0.40/kWh) and water (€3.50/day), laundry package (€25 per person per stay) and pets (€8/day) will be charged with the deposit, unless the portals charge or collect the costs. Intermediate cleaning or additional laundry packages must be booked before arrival, and otherwise cannot usually be provided.
