A vacation lodge feel to help you forget about life's responsibilities! The space You'll enter a private drive to see uniquely positioned, timber frame home on the brow of a mountain surrounded by trees. The entire property consists of 18 mostly wooded acres with only the cabin yard area cleared. The surrounding trees provide privacy and a unique, vacation-like view in all directions. The circular drive provides easy access to the front door with ample parking down by the garage entry. Guests with a trailer or boat will find parking easy to navigate. Guest access The entire house is available as is the entire, 18 acre property. The outdoor area includes a spacious outdoor, covered deck, a pool, and a hot tub on the lower patio. There is also a Koi pond as a point of interest and a fire pit area. Other things to note Please note that bedroom #4 is an open loft with a queen sofa bed. It is listed as a bedroom to deal with an Airbnb limitation on showing the sleeping arrangements otherwise. This area shares a bathroom with bedroom #2 (the one with queen bed). While you will notice that there is a cleaning fee, this fee only represents a portion of what we actually pay for cleaning after each stay. There are many indoor and outdoor living areas involved and we strive to ensure that they are all cleaned, stocked, and welcoming to each new guest. Also, the $30 additional pet fee is an adder that we also pass to the cleaners. It's a total fee, not a per pet or per night fee. This helps cover the additional cleaning and checking often needed after a pet's stay.
