Located in the historic Near Westside district, within minutes of downtown amenities and restaurants, including the First Arena, the Clemens Center, and multiple Mark Twains historical sites. An easy drive takes you to the finger lakes region full of scenic views, wine trails, Amish shops, and the famous Watkins Glen race track. Our home is friendly for guests with small children. Please just let us know who's traveling with you so we can provide anything you may need such as a baby gate. With the large dining room, spacious kitchen, and cozy living room, you will feel right at home. The large fenced back yard gives you plenty of space to enjoy. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a couch that can double as a sleeping space (twin bed size) in the living room as well as a queen sized Futon that fits two and easily folds out flat. We offer weekly and monthly discounts and are pet friendly. Driveway can fit large vehicles or vehicles with trailers. The house is around 100 years old and holds all the history and characteristics you would expect from such a home. Please keep in mind this is not a modern build, and while updated, it has some features from past decades. The unit has access to the basement for laundry, but like most basements, it is also for the houses utilities and is not a main living space and is NOT a finished basement. Guests have full access to the apartment, including the basement laundry, as well as the yard and driveway for off-street parking (driveway parking is shared with upper unit). Guests are asked to stay out of storage and utility rooms off the basement or the second floor unit entryway in the front of the house. Guests may interact through messages or by phone. We ask that if you have any issues or questions, you let us know as soon as possible so that we can help. If we don't know, we can't fix it! The historic Near West Side is full of historic homes, with a short walk to local restaurants and other attractions. Our street is a one-way street, so traffic is usually light. Car, bike or walk. Uber and Lyft are also available While we do not live on premises, we are nearby and are happy to swing by if assistance is needed. The upstairs unit may be occupied by other air bnb guests, but each unit has its own entrance, so the only shared space is the driveway and backyard. Street parking is available and is usually easy to find. We have a great cafe/restaurant a block away.
