Zona tranquila y segura, con todos los comercios a metros del edificio, a una cuadra del World Trade Center Montevideo y a dos cuadras de Montevideo Shopping Center. A pocas cuadras de la Bahía del Buceo, Yacht Club Uruguayo, Hard Rock Café, la Plaza de los Pescadores, entre otros! LAVADERO Está ubicado en el 1er piso del edificio. Es un espacio común compartido por todos los vecinos. Para activar el lavarropas y secarropas tienen que usar la tarjeta blanca y verde que se encuentra en el apartamento (debería estar en el primer cajón de la cocina). Recuerden ingresar jabón y suavizante antes de activar la máquina. Cada lavado tendrá un costo de USD 3 y cada secado de USD 3. Por favor informar cuando la usen así nos aseguramos que la tarjeta tenga crédito para realizar los lavados. DUCHA DE BAÑO El agua caliente proviene de un calefón eléctrico que tiene una capacidad limitada de agua. Éste es suficiente para duchas de aproximadamente 5 minutos o un poco más. Luego hay que esperar 20-30 minutos para poder darse otra ducha. GARAGE NO INCLUIDO Hay un estacionamiento llamado YES! en el edificio. La tarifa del mismo NO ESTÁ INCLUIDA en el precio que ustedes pagaron por la estadía. GYM Está ubicado en el último piso del edificio. Es un espacio común compartido por todos los vecinos. TERRAZAS EN EL ÚLTIMO PISO Hay dos terrazas en el último piso del edificio. La que se encuentra en el gimnasio está disponible para todos en todo momento. La terraza de la barbacoa está disponible únicamente cuando la barbacoa no se encuentra reservada por otro vecino. También pueden trabajar en estos espacios cuando no se encuentran reservados. PISCINA Ubicada en el 1er piso del edificio. Es una piscina chica, para relajarse. Habilitada solo en la temporada de verano. Pocitos is undoubtedly the best option to stay in Montevideo if you want to experience the local lifestyle and also being close to most of the best restaurants, bars and coffee places of the city. The apartment is located close to many chic and fancy restaurants and shops which attract people not only from other neighbourhoods of Montevideo but also tourists. Here old renovated houses perfectly coexist with the tallest towers of the city. Those built facing the sea are some of the most expensive properties in Montevideo. Pocitos’ Rambla – the name given to Montevideo’s promenade – offers one of the most stunning views of Río de la Plata. During the summer, Pocitos’ promenade is always crowded and its beach is also one of the most popular in the city. To be honest, though, this part of the city is crowded all year long. It’s a favorite spot to gather with friends, play all types of sports, or just sit facing the sea in more quiet moments. Pocitos is mainly a residential neighborhood, but its parks, open spaces, and wide avenues make it a perfect sunny day destination. The neighbourhood is known for its beach, Playa Pocitos, and the Rambla (boulevard that lies alongside the beach). Pocitos is characterized by its apartment buildings of 10 to 15 stories that lie right on the Rambla providing excellent views of the neighbourhood, the beach, and the river. Playa Pocitos, or Pocitos Beach, is preferred by the teenage population. These beaches are also recognized for their soccer, volleyball, and nautical events and championships. Pocitos is located only 10 minutes away from the centre of Montevideo. Landmarks: Pocitos is home to many buildings of architectural interest, with the Casa Darnaud, seat of the Russian Embassy, and the Casa Towers, seat of the Italian Embassy, as two out of many examples. The following buildings, now used as residences or seats of businesses, that have been named as National Heritage Sites in 1986: the Casa Felipe Yriart, the Casa Casabó, and the Casa Williams. Also the building of the Escuela Brasil, still in use as school, was named National Heritage Site in 2002. There are bus stops a few steps away from our building (in the same block) and it is extremely easy to find cabs in the area. 26 de Marzo and Luis Alberto de Herrera streets are important transport hubs for city buses and taxis. Uber and Cabify are probably the best options if you need to visit other areas of the city.
