The space The Linhay is a modern light and airy converted barn that is accessed down steps from the parking bay creating a secluded and private property which is south facing. French doors will greet you at the entrance that leads into a newly renovated fully functional kitchen with a relaxed style table and bench set up and a 3 seater breakfast bar. With both doors open wide you can have an indoor/outdoor dining feel with a view of the garden. There is a large deck with seating for guests. The garden slopes down above the deck creating a very private feel to the house and can be a sun trap even on cooler days. A large hallway houses plenty of shoes and kids coats and jackets plus a big map of Dartmoor to plan your adventures. This leads into a large living room with a dining table and sofa with French doors to access the deck outside. The first set of stairs leads to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all with stunning vaulted ceilings and velux windows overlooking the garden. The Master bedroom has a Super King bed with luxury mattress and bedding and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 2 has a single bed with a comfy chair, an open wardrobe and plenty of kids books for entertainment. Bedroom 3 is a huge space for 3 people with a bunkbed and a single bed. For family specific bookings this room is perfect as a part playroom due to its size and has kids games, lego, dressing up boxes, a teepee and books to keep kids busy on rainy days. The family bathroom has a bath/shower combo (with some bath play toys) and also features a double seated toilet specifically for little kids & for adult use. Back to the kitchen and through the other door you will find another bathroom (with a shower unit), a separate utility room (with dryer/washing machine, boiler, iron, storage and cleaning materials) and room for ample adult coat hanging space in a small hallway. From here head up the 2nd staircase that leads to Bedroom 4, a beautiful spacious twin room with a velux that looks over the garden. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire place (other than 2 storage rooms that will be locked) including the front garden and parking bays. The Courtyard behind the property is out of bounds to guests other than use in an emergency. The shed will be locked and not for guest use. Other things to note Guests must be aware that the garden is typical of Dartmoor and is therefore steep sloped with some granite rocks. Please ensure you supervise children outside at all times when at the property.
