Nestled in the most prestigious location in Salcombe, Woodside Beach has unrivalled views of the estuary and access to its own private beach. Advised to bring own disposable BBQ - 2 Spa passes for the nearby Harbour Hotel - Luxury new apartment - 3 bedrooms sleeping 6/7 (2x King bedrooms, 1x Bunk bedroom with double size bottom bunk) - Children 9 years and above - 1 car parking space - Private entrance - Smart TVs in King bedrooms - Superfast Broadband Arrive on the Woodside Beach car park deck and park in your assigned space. Walk down a short set of steps, past the mail parcel boxes to a level decked walkway leading to Sea Swallow front door. Stepping into the entrance hall you get your first taste of the contemporary space, fresh bold colours and high end finishes. The kids bunk room is on your right, a colourful modern room with lobster wallpaper and boat cushions. (Sorry but no under 9s.) At the end of the hallway is the kitchen, but first find the utility room on the left with washing machine and tumble dryer and extra coat hooks. On entering the kitchen you are greeted by the most fantastic sea view; this space is filled with sunshine and light. Sit up at the breakfast counter on bar stools next to the oversized picture window and enjoy a cup of coffee or the complimentary Salcombe Gin. The kitchen is well equipped and very spacious, with numerous storage cupboards and a stunning white Range oven. A luxurious breakfast cupboard houses a Nespresso compatible coffee machine, toaster, tea coffee, biscuits, wine glasses etc. Built in dishwasher and waste / recycling bins are housed under the counter for your convenience. A large sea blue pendant overhangs the glass dining table where six people can dine in style with an amazing view of the shimmering sea. The space is airy and open plan but a clever room dividing TV wall separates the areas allowing adults to dine whilst children watch a movie. The living room is dominated by a fabulous huge corner sofa which begs you to sit back and relax with a view across to Mill bay and the Bar. Plantation shutters reveal a sun drenched balcony with comfortable cushioned armchairs and a coffee table. The master bedroom is at the end of the adjoining corridor; a lovely light filled room with a restful colour palette. There is a beautiful King sized bed and a contemporary ensuite shower room with a large powerful shower. The second bedroom is often the favourite; an incredible floor to ceiling picture window frames the most perfect view of The Bar and the famous Woodcot House Pine tree. You can sit in bed and watch the HD TV or the action on the water. Straight across the corridor from the second bedroom is the stylish family bathroom. Contemporary blue terrazzo tiles frame this spacious room, which houses a freestanding bath and large powerful shower. Sea Swallow is an elegant yet relaxed apartment which appeals to families who will enjoy access to the private beach or a group of adults seeking a sophisticated get away, a short stroll from the town centre. Guest access 1 Car parking space and access to Sea Swallow apartment and the private beach via the cliff garden on Cliff road (Beach area may be occasionally closed for maintenance) Other things to note This property cannot accept children under the age of seven years unfortunately due to the noise created which affects the other apartments within the building. Our other 3bed property in the building 'Oyster Catcher', has no age restriction. Because of the open plan living style of the apartment and the heavy volume of guests checking in we kindly ask that no heavily spiced cooking occurs in the apartment, to keep it and our new furniture fresh for the next guests. Extra cleaning fees will be applied if necessary. Private beach access is at your own risk, via steep steps and path which can be slippery so please wear sensible footwear and proceed with caution. The owners reserve the right to close beach access at any point; no discount or compensation can be given in this case. It is possible to arrange private paddle boarding lessons and kayak hire from the private beach. It is best to request info on this prior to your holiday.
