Nicaraguan family owned farm with modern amenities. Come enjoy rural Nicaraguan life in the comfort of our round earth bag home. Connect with locals in the area or just relax in the hammock and walk around our 16 acre farm. Please note, the house is on the national power grid which is subject to frequent unscheduled outages. Enjoy the circular structure of our earthen home made from earth and wood from the property. The house has one bedroom, one bathroom, a yoga/study space, and a large main room with kitchen and dining area. One queen size bed, a queen size air mattress, and plenty of tent or hammock space. You can also rent my grandpa’s 1975 Toyota Landcruiser to go into town for shopping. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and outdoor rancho. You are welcome to walk around the property and have our caretaker give you a tour. You can rent the blue jeep for a low daily rate. Other things to note The best way to get to the farm is by taxi. Upon booking you will be sent directions in English and in Spanish to assist you to arrive smoothly. You can get groceries at the Pali or market in Nandaime or from the passing fruit and veg carts along the main road. There is a small store about 5 min walk away from the farm where you can buy eggs, milk, and dry goods. The local church sells prepared food every Saturday night as a fundraiser. A local pizza place in Nandaime can also deliver pizza!
