Two double bedrooms

Welcome to our home on the beautiful coast of north Skye, with stunning sea views over The Minch to one side and the Trotternish hills to the other. Rest after your busy day in these two double bedrooms and make yourself at home with a cup of tea, good book and a fire in the guest lounge downstairs. The bathroom is shared with the hosts and there is no guest access to the kitchen. Sorry but our home is not suitable for families with children under 6 years of age. The space Each of these two private rooms in 1st floor is equipped with a double bed, storage for your clothes, a sink and a beautiful sea view to one side and the Trotternish ridge to the other. The rooms are accessed by stair so they are not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Bathroom with a walk-in shower is shared with myself and my husband. There is shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. Have a tea and coffee in the guest lounge and watch the waves crushing on the shore below the house, while being cozy by the fire place. During the rainy days this is a great place to enjoy our scottish themed book selection or watch TV. The lounge is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge, a toaster and a microwave. To make you feel at home, we have prepared a small breakfast-like welcome pack with some essentials and treats, which you’ll find in the guest lounge upon your arrival. In the front garden there is a seating area with a sea view. Our home is not suitable for children under 6 years of age. Please note that this is a shared home and we (the hosts) live on the property. The bathroom is shared with us, and we kindly ask all guests to respect the space and house rules, including quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. No pets allowed. Other things to note The closest shops are in Staffin - MacKenzie Stores and Staffin Bay Stores, and in Uig - Rankins and the Filling station. You can check their opening times online and please remember they are usualy closed/open for limited hours on Sunday. For a larger food choice and/or Sunday shopping there is a larger Co-op in Portree and smaller Co-op in Portree town center. Fuel stations are in Portree, MacKenzie Stores in Staffin, Filling station in Uig.
